Eva Price might’ve just done something really stupid by inviting Megan over for Christmas, Coronation Street spoilers suggest.

But, spoilers reveal that this might just set off a whole load of fireworks during the family dinner.

Megan invited over to the Rovers for Christmas in Coronation Street

Today was Will Driscoll’s 16th birthday, and with his family pretending that they’d got nothing planned for this special day, Will decided to treat himself to a Chariot Square hotel room.

Yes, the only thing on Will’s mind that he was now of legal age to get it on. But, that still didn’t change the fact that his relationship with gym coach Megan was illegal. He’s still only 16 no matter how mature he believes himself to be.

Megan and Will then snuck off to a rose petal filled hotel room and spent the afternoon in bed together. But, when Ben Driscoll caught wind of where Will was, he barged into the room to discover Will was hiding his girlfriend in the closet.

Will made out that his girlfriend from Hull – Chloe – was with him, with Ben, Ollie and Will leaving her to do the walk of shame alone.

Back at the Rovers, Ben told Eva that Will had been hanging out with his mates so that she wouldn’t worry. But the situation soon got even more awkward when Megan was invited into the pub and also invited over for Christmas Dinner with the Driscolls.

Eva was upset to find out that Megan was spending Christmas Day with a ‘turkey dinner for one’ and invited both her and Daniel to join them all in the pub. But, will this be the perfect environment for Megan and Will’s secret to come out?

Coronation Street spoilers confirm Driscoll Christmas drama

Coronation Street spoilers for Christmas week reveal that the Driscoll dinner erupts into chaos and secrets threaten to spill.

Maggie Driscoll struggles to mask her irritation as Ben and Eva swap presents, their syrupy affection laying it on thick enough for a Christmas romcom. Over at the pub, Daniel pops in with Bertie bearing a gift for Megan, and Maggie quickly insists they stay for lunch – much to Will’s quiet annoyance.

Elsewhere, Adam wows Alya with a glittering necklace and casually floats the idea of moving in together, leaving her delighted. Eva panics when she realises her missing letter isn’t in her bag. Adam grabs her hand for reassurance,  just as Ben walks in and clocks the moment.

As lunch begins, Maggie shoots Eva a deadly stare while Will bristles at Daniel. The Secret Santa finale leaves Ben stunned, with someone then being kicked out of the pub.

And, just at the back of the pub in the ginnel, Evelyn finds someone left for dead as the drama reaches its peak. Who could it be? And, is it someone who was sitting at the dinner table?

What happened to Steve Irwin when he died and why it spooked the SHARK! Celebrity Infested Waters cast

SHARK! Celebrity Infested Waters briefly paid reference to 'Crocodile Hunter' Steve Irwin's tragic death tonight - but what happened to him?

The celebrity line-up suddenly remembered the Australian conservationist and zoo keeper's fate when they were told they would be swimming with stingrays.

Concerned Helen George asked Sir Lenny Henry: "Are rays dangerous? Are you scared of rays? Are they a thing to be scared of? Can they kill you?"

Lenny quietly muttered to comedian Ross Noble: "I'm just not going to talk about Steve Irwin at all."

Call The Midwife star Helen suddenly says: "Wait, hang on. Didn't Steve Irwin die of a ray sting?"

SHARK! Celebrity Infested Waters expert Danni Washington later dismisses Steve's death as a "freak accident". So what really happened?

What did SHARK! Celebrity Infested Waters expert say about Steve Irwin?

Shark expert and conversationist Danni Washington was quick to reassure Helen George and the other stars about Steve's death.

In the first episode of SHARK! Celebrity Infested Waters, she said: "Some of you might know of that story of the Australian presenter that many of us loved, Steve Irwin, who tragically lost his life to a string ray encounter that did not go well.

"That was a freak accident that happened. This is not a common encounter people have with sting rays. They are very peaceful. The point is for you to stay as peaceful as them. They're just coming to check you out."

All seven celebrities - Helen, Lenny, Ross, Lucy Punch, Dougie Poynter and Ade Adepitan - successfully fed sting rays calamari while in the water on the show.
