Exactly when MAFS Australia's Gia and Bec have huge dinner party showdown in moment you're waiting for
Drama is comingMAFS Australia 2026 looks set to be one of the most dramatic series’ yet, and Gia, Brook and Bec are all about to get caught up in a huge showdown.
It’s already clear that there is tension between some of the brides on the hit TV show just days in. But as it’s already aired in Australia, we know exactly what unfolds. And it’s safe to say, it’s quite shocking.
It appears there’s not just one explosive dinner party, but quite a few. But there was one that prompted both Brook and Gia to issue apologies for their behaviour.
So, when exactly will that go down in the UK? And what actually happens between the brides? Let’s have a look.

What happens at the MAFS Australia dinner party?
It seems there is quite a lot of drama headed our way from the Aussie series. And it all boils down to Gia and Brook having a showdown with quite a lot of the other brides, but mainly Bec, Stella and Alissa.
From episode one, it was clear Gia – who has undergone numerous transformations – and Bec didn’t like each other, with both of them saying exactly that in their confessionals. But as time goes on, things get worse between the brides.
In a dramatic dinner party, Brook and Gia launched verbal attacks on other brides. Many viewers felt Brook was leading the outburst, with Gia backing her, before getting involved herself.
During a heated exchange, Brook referred to Stella as “[bleep]ing dumb” while Gia mocked Alissa as a “ratchet idiot” and told her to “go back in your kennel, babes”.

At some point during the show, Gia alleges that Bec’s husband, Danny, told her that “in the real world” she would be more his type. And so, in the middle of the outbursts, Brook fills Bec in on what was said.
Gia was forced to admit that it did happen, explaining that Danny said she would be more his type on a night out.
This all immediately plays into Bec’s own fears that Danny isn’t interested in her enough, and she ran off in tears, telling Gia: “No. You are not coming for my husband. Don’t even [bleep]ing dare. Do not do it.”

When will it air in the UK?
That’s not the only drama that comes from the dinner parties this year. But it did lead to Brook actually getting called out by the experts.
Following the showdown, expert Mel Schilling – who is leaving the show after this series – told Brook: “In all my years of working on Married At First Sight, I have never experienced a woman being so vicious to other women.”
However, Brook wasn’t actually interested in hearing the feedback. Instead, she walked out, telling them she needed to go to the bathroom. But she didn’t come back.
Thankfully, for the UK fans who are eagerly waiting to see the dramatic scenes unfold, there isn’t too long to go.
It’s believed the showdown occurs in episodes 12 and 13. So, judging by that, we could expect to see them in week three, just two weeks away.
Married At First Sight is on Mondays to Thursdays at 7.30pm on E4.
