Has Jasmine killed Cindy? What happens next as she leaves her for dead

Jasmine showed her true colours

Jasmine Fisher attacked Cindy Beale in EastEnders tonight (Monday, November 24), leaving her for dead after a vicious confrontation. This came as Cindy and Lauren grew suspicious about Jasmine’s past, and tracked down her mother.

Meeting with nervous Anita, Jasmine and Cindy were alarmed to hear about her dark side. Fearing that her old enemies had returned, Cindy immediately began plotting her escape from Walford.

Too late, she ran into Jasmine afterwards. And, as she found herself on the receiving end of Jasmine’s fury, Cindy was left for dead after being shoved down a flight of stairs.

What has Jasmine done? Here’s everything that happened in EastEnders tonight – and what happens next.

Cindy grew suspicious of Jasmine

The sheen had started to come off Cindy’s working relationship with Jasmine, and she was starting to grow suspicious. After a conversation with Elaine, Cindy realised the youth was taking an abnormal interest.

Greeting Peter and Lauren as they returned from their honeymoon, Cindy vented her frustration. Her suspicions falling on deaf ears, Cindy took matters into her own hands – digging into Jasmine’s unattended bag, just as she and Oscar returned to catch her in the act.

Cindy played it off as normal boss stuff, but the bee remained firmly under her bonnet. Later, as Lauren bonded with her new house guest, she too grew suspicious when Jasmine accidentally dropped Anthony’s surgery keys.

Jasmine claimed that she’d found the keys in the street – only for Oscar to drop them both in it by revealing how they’d broken into the surgery. Furious at Jasmine for leading Oscar astray, she demanded Jasmine out of the house.

Jasmine left Cindy for dead as fears about her past grew in EastEnders tonight

At The Vic with Elaine, Cindy was sharing her suspicions when Nigel overheard. Recalling what Jasmine had previously said about wanting revenge, he shared her sinister words with a shocked Cindy.

She returned home, in the aftermath of Lauren and Jasmine’s confrontation. Jasmine had left her phone behind before flouncing off – giving the pair the opportunity to call her mum.

Mere hours later, Cindy and Lauren met with Jasmine’s mother. She explained how she’d been on holiday when Jasmine was in hospital, hence her no-show.

Jasmine has a dark side, Anita revealed, and she’d told her to stay away from Walford. She was about to go into her ex-husband’s dangerous family when Anita stopped herself, leaving abruptly.

Fearing that the Ford crime family had reared their head again, Cindy called her handler for help – and tried to talk Ian into fleeing the country again, with the children in tow.

Meanwhile, Lauren returned home, to talk about everything that had happened with Jasmine. Giving the pair some space, Jasmine headed to The Albert, where she ran into Cindy outside.

Climbing the stairs to talk to Jasmine, Cindy revealed that she’d spoken to her mum. Furious, Jasmine gave Cindy a shove, pushing her down the steps onto the unforgiving concrete below.

Standing over Cindy’s lifeless body, Jasmine then fled. Has she killed Cindy?

Oscar raises the alarm in EastEnders tomorrow

As the story continues tomorrow, Oscar stumbles across the scene, finding a lifeless Cindy outside The Albert. After calling an ambulance, he quizzes Jasmine over what happened.

She tells him that she had nothing to do with the attack. And, as Oscar’s suspicions grow, makes up a huge lie.

Will Oscar believe Jasmine’s tall tales? And will Cindy pull through after the attack?

The Masked Singer's Gargoyle is revealed as Shakespears Sister star Marcella Detroit

The Masked Singer's Gargoyle was tonight unmasked and Marcella Detroit was revealed to be hiding under the giant costume.

Gargoyle ended up in the sing-off alongside fellow contestant Sloth but she didn't impress the judges enough to stay (get it?!) and was sent home.

There were gasps from the audience and the panel as Marcella was revealed to be underneath the mask.

Marcella told Masked Singer host Joel Domett about her time on the show: "It was hot. And it was very difficult to walk!"

Here's how everything unfolded on The Masked Singer tonight - and all about this week's guest judge.

The Masked Singer: Who performed tonight?

Tonight's episode of The Masked Singer was a rather unseasonal Spooktacular Special. Did they forget their calendars?!

Judges Mo Gillligan, Davina McCall, Maya Jama and Jonathan Ross pulled out all the stops and fully embraced the theme.

But it was host Joel who arguably stole the show, dressing up as a very convincing Wednesday Addams. Top marks also for Jonathan, who greened-up as a futuristic Frankenstein!

Maya looked sensational sheer black dress with elaborate shoulder straps, while Davina channelled her inner spiderweb. Swit swoo, ladies!

Ben Shepard was this week's guest judge and he looked unrecognisable. The This Morning star was dressed up as a creepy scarecrow and he nailed the brief perfectly.

The hair, make-up and costume department must have been run off their feet!

This week saw the return of Can of Worms, Sloth, Gargoyle and Sloth to The Masked Singer. Red Panda also made his debut on the ITV show.

Red Panda had been due to perform in Week 1 of the competition, but his song was cut from the final edit at the last minute.

The contestant had performed the 1976 classic Disco Inferno but it was deemed 'potentially insensitive' in the wake of the ski resort fire in Crans-Montana, Switzerland earlier this month. 40 people died in the tragedy.

Who was unmasked tonight? Gargoyle is revealed as Marcella Detroit

Gargoyle had landed in the bottom two with Sloth tonight following the audience votes.

They both performed again but the judges decided to save Sloth and send Gargoyle home.

Marcella was then revealed after chants of "take it off, take it off", much to the shock of the judges. Joel also seemed pretty thrilled, confessing to her that he is a massive fan!

Jonathan then asked Marcella if she would sing them out with Shakespeares Sister's huge hit, Stay. She happily obliged.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan said: "Omg I would never have guessed Marcella Detroit!"

While another added: "YES I CALLED IT!!!" And a third chimed in: "Marcella Detroit is 73!!!!!! My god she looks good!"

However, one unimpressed viewer wrote: "Maybe this Marcella lady could sing at one point in her life, but she definitely can't now." Harsh!

Who has gone on The Masked Singer?

Marcella joins five other celebrities who have already been unmasked on this year's show.

First to go was Disc Jockey, who was revealed to be The One Show's Alex Jones. Teabag was next. Rapper Professor Green was hiding under his mask.

Last week, Yak was unmasked to reveal John Lydon - aka The Sex Pistols' Johnny Rotten.

The series has also seen pop singer Anne-Marie make an appearance as Goldfish in the band No Trout, and Emperor Penguin  from the Antarctic Funkeys - aka comedian Matt Lucas.
