I’m A Celebrity baddie David Haye slammed for highlighting ‘the dark side of fame’ by jungle alum Josie Gibson
Josie has defended AdamJose Gibson has shared her thoughts on the I’m A Celebrity South Africa drama involving David Haye and Adam Thomas.
Former boxer David and actor Adam first came to blows during their stint on the ITV show. However, the pair clashed again during the live final.
And just this week, he recounted his tumultuous jungle experience and broke down in tears, claiming David ‘bullied’ him.
Now, friend of Adam Josie Gibson has had her say, and called out David for his behaviour towards Adam, describing it as “not fair” and “not right”.

Jose Gibson slams David Haye
On Thursday (April 30) Josie appeared on Good Morning Britain to chat about her new ITV show, How To Clean Up For Cash. The conversation soon turned to the topic of David and Adam though.
“Listen, you’re a friend of Adam Thomas, What do you think? You watched the final, where do you stand on it?” host Kate Garraway asked.
Josie replied: “I tell you what. I know the Thomas brothers, and they are the sort of guys you would want your daughters to bring home. They are lovely.”
Addressing Adam’s situation directly she continued: “And if you’ve watched the podcast that they made, I think what David Haye did to him was actually… it’s the dark side of fame. And I think he saw him as a winner and tried to play with his mind. It’s just not fair. Not right.”

Adam’s emotional podcast interview
This week, Adam has shared his side of the story on his family podcast, At Home With The Thomas Bro’s, alongside brothers Ryan and Scott Thomas.
Holding back tears, Adam admitted he stayed quiet in camp because others brushed the situation off as “banter”.
Opening up about a private conversation with David after filming wrapped, he said: “I spoke to David when I got out and I asked him, ‘Why did you keep doing this to me? Why did you do it?’”
According to Adam, David’s response was blunt: “He told me, ‘I’ve never met a nicer guy. I just wanted to break you.'”
The actor didn’t hold back when reflecting on that moment, saying: “Now, if that isn’t classed as bullying, I don’t know what is.”
Looking back on his earlier comments, Adam admitted he had initially been “apprehensive and probably a bit diplomatic” about labelling the situation as bullying.
But now, his stance is clear: “What happened to me in camp was bullying.”

David fires back at Adam’s claims
Shortly after Adam’s comments, David took to his Instagram and blasted Adam’s bullying allegations, claiming he has “spun it so he’s still the victim”.
In a lengthy Instagram video, he claimed that Adam “couldn’t take” the banter and called him Mr Flaccid. David also alleged that more information will soon come out which will contradict Adam’s version of events.
He ended the video with: “Maybe your [Adam] weak-[bleep] fan base just want the soft marshmallow energy, so just keep giving it to them.
“There’s a lot of stuff that is going to come to light that hasn’t come to light, that kind of contradicts his story just a little bit that I’m looking forward to seeing the light of day.”
