Jack Branning and Ravi Gulati lie to the police in EastEnders spoilers for Mon, Sep 14, as both men attempt to cover their tracks following last week’s shooting. With a police investigation underway, Jack is forced to lie about his whereabouts, and only grows more compromised when Ravi uses him as an alibi.
What will Jack decide to do?
Elsewhere, Nigel makes a request of Phil after growing more suspicious of Julie, and the fallout from the shooting continues.

1. Jack and Ravi lie to the police in EastEnders spoilers
Denise is suspicious as guilty Jack plans what to do with the gun. When DS Spencer arrives to talk about last week’s events, Jack lies about his whereabouts, further raising Denise’s suspicions.
Later, the police take Ravi in for questioning. Deciding to play with fire, he gives Jack as his alibi, telling the officers that they were together on the night of the shooting.
Backed into a corner, Jack is forced to tell his colleagues that he was trying to bring Ravi on board as an informant. Afterwards, he agrees to get rid of the gun with Ravi, but has a change of heart when DS Spencer arrives.

2. Nigel and Phil escape to the country
Nigel and Julie are distraught to find that foxes have killed their chickens. Nigel grows even more upset when he learns that he was accidentally to blame for what happened, and becomes distressed.
Later, Nigel grows suspicious of Julie’s mysterious phone calls. She tells Nigel that the call is about a potential job, but the conversation stirs up unpleasant feelings in Nigel.
Shocked, he asks Phil to take him away for a trip to the countryside.
