They will then get the chance to “swap city life for rolling hills”, pull on their wellies and move onto their match’s farm.

Here’s what we know!

Along with being Jeremy Clarkson’s long-term parter, the Irish actress manages the Diddly Squat Farm Shop.

She is also very hands-on with the everyday operations of the farm, too.

ITV has picked Lisa to guide the single farmers through their journey to love (hopefully) thanks to her “experience of farming, her humour and straight-talking honesty”.

Lisa says about her role: “Farming is a way of life that requires resilience, patience, a lot of humour, and the same can be said for relationships.

“What I love about Farming for Love is how real it is – there is no hiding or skiving on a farm and that is what makes it such an honest way for people to get to know each other that has had success around the world.

“I am really looking forward to leading this flock in their search for romance.”

Farming for Love on ITV: Who are the farmers?

ITV has confirmed four single farmers who have signed up to the new series of Farming for Love. They are:

  • Dana, 24, from Stirlingshire. She is described as a “down-to-earth farmer’ who also works part-time as a wedding dress model. Dana is “looking for someone who can match her energy and embrace life (and love) in the Scottish countryside”.
  • George, 29, from Wrexham. George is an organic livestock farmer and an “adrenaline junkie”. His bio reads: “Now settled into running the family farm, he admits it’s time to find a partner and start growing a family of his own.
  • Guy, 29, from Wiltshire. Guy is described as a “rugged suckler farmer” who will bring “humour and heart” to any relationship. The only women in his life currently are his “beloved cows”.
  • Chris, 68, is from Yorkshire. Chris describes himself as a Golden Bachelor. His wife tragically died from cancer three years ago and he now feels ready to find a new lady to share his farming life with.

How to apply for Farming for Love?

If the sound of any of these four single farmers gets your cowbells ringing, here’s how to apply.

First of all, the show asks potential suitors to learn about the farmers and their stories on the official Farming for Love social media pages. They are Instagram (@farmforlove)TikTok (@FarmForLove) and Facebook (@FarmingForLove).

You can then register your interest via an application form. It reads: “Daters – if you’re single, dreaming of living the farm life and looking for real love with someone who already lives and breathes it, we want to hear from you!”

Applicants must be 18 or older. But you’ve not got long, as the closing date is this Friday April 26, 2026.

When does Farming for Love start?

ITV has confirmed that Farming for Love will consist of seven episodes. Each one will be an hour long.

The show is based on the global hit Farmer Wants a Wife and is produced by Naked. This is the production company behind the likes of The Apprentice and Celebrity Escape to the Country.

The start date has not yet been confirmed. But it won’t be on just yet. Expect it on screens later this year at the earliest.
