As Megan threatens to deal with Sam, Coronation Street spoilers confirm secret camera twist that could expose grooming secret

Sam's not backing down

In tonight’s episode of Coronation Street (Tuesday, February 10), Sam Blakeman kept a firm eye on secretive Megan and Will at the bistro.

During an awkward gathering for Eva Price‘s 38th birthday party, Sam found himself in very close proximity to Megan and her secret lover.

And, despite Megan’s threats, spoilers have confirmed that he’s about to up the ante in his plan to expose Megan’s grooming ways once and for all.

Megan vs Sam in Coronation Street

Megan Walsh recently warned Sam Blakeman to back off and stop believing that she was seeing teenage Will Driscoll. But, with Sam not getting the hint, Megan then intervened further and meddled with Sam’s schoolwork.

We all know how much Sam takes his academic life seriously, so Megan knew just how to get him to listen.

At Roy’s Rolls, Daniel made a comment about Sam being late to turn in his English essay for the first time. This was extremely out of character. Like, really.

Sam assured Daniel that he did turn it in but it must’ve got lost on the desk. He didn’t like getting a late mark, heading home to print it off again. We wonder who was behind that being ‘misplaced’ then?

Later on, at the bistro, Leanne and Sam joined Eva and the family for Eva’s birthday celebrations.

Will then reported back to Megan that Sam was onto them, but Megan vowed to sort him out.

Sam’s secret camera plot against Megan in Coronation Street spoilers

In Coronation Street spoilers for next week, Sam Blakeman’s ready to get solid evidence to expose Megan Walsh.

With Leanne out of town, Sam tells Daniel he’ll be hitting the books at the salon flat – though revision isn’t the only thing on his mind. Megan soon rings Will to announce she’s got the place to herself, and he wastes no time spinning a story for Ben about staying at a mate’s. After a surprise apology from Daniel smooths things over, Will is given the green light.

Sam watches from the sidelines as Will arrives, bag in hand, and gets personally buzzed in by Megan. Alarm bells ring.

Not one to sit back, Sam later sneaks into the flat, startling Megan and leaving behind a neatly rearranged shelf as proof he’s been there. Megan panics and warns Will that Sam’s clocked them, so charm mode is activated.

At the Bistro, Will plays it cool, even offering Sam vodka in a bid to bond. Sam pretends to relax while fishing for answers. When Daniel appears and Will bolts, suspicion spikes. Finally, Sam checks his hidden camera footage and Megan and Will enter the flat together. Jackpot… or another near miss?

Murder Before Evensong: First look at C5 murder mystery based on the novel by Reverend Richard Coles

Murder Before Evensong is the upcoming Channel 5 adaptation of Reverend Richard Coles' book of the same name - and here's a first look at the mystery drama.

Matthew Lewis and Amanda Redman lead the brand new series, which will also air on Acorn TV, and we can now reveal some sneak peek pictures of what to expect.

Matthew and Amanda be seen in character, as Canon Daniel Clement and his mother Audrey Clement, strolling through their picturesque village of Champton St Mary.

Murder Before Evensong: What's it about?

The plot of Murder Before Evensong is centred around Daniel, who shares Champton rectory with his widowed mother Audrey and his two dachshunds, Cosmo and Hilda.

Audrey is said to be fearless, opinionated and, dare we say it, slightly annoying. Although nothing about the new pictures from the set indicate these personality traits!

One snap shows Audrey dressed in a smart black winter coat and scarf while walking alongside her son. Her hair has been set in curls and she's wearing large pearls in her ears. The leafy backdrop highlights what a picturesque village they live in.

In another photo, taken on set and in front of the clapper board, shows Audrey in a smart, bottle green jacket. Again, she has pearls in her earlobes and is also wearing a string of them around her neck.

The story is set in the fictional English village of Champton St Mary in 1988, with filming taking place in the West Midlands.

The synopsis for the series reads: "When Daniel announces a plan to install a lavatory in the church, the parish is suddenly (and unexpectedly) divided: as lines are drawn, long-buried secrets come dangerously close to destroying the apparent calm of the village."

Things really get going when a body is subsequently found dead at the back of the church, having been stabbed in the neck with a pair of secateurs. We're told: "As the police move in and the bodies start piling up, Daniel is the only one who can try and keep his fractured community together... and catch a killer."

Evensong is a church service that includes singing, readings, and prayers, usually held in the evening. It's a time for reflection and contemplation for members of the parish.
