Myron Gaines threatens to 'expose' Louis Theroux as Inside the Manosphere influencers 'crash out' after Netflix doc
"You're a liar with an agenda"
Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere has sparked a big response from its influencers – including Andrew Tate, who isn’t even in the documentary.
The new Netflix doc follows Theroux as he meets figures from the manosphere, an online community of influencers who often propagate toxic masculinity, misogynistic attitudes, and ways to ‘get rich’.
He mainly spends time with four men: HSTikkyTokky (real name Harrison Sullivan), Myron Gaines (real name Amrou Fudl), Sneako (real name Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy), and Justin Waller.
Waller has remained silent in the wake of the documentary’s acclaim and strong reactions (for example, one viewer called them all “embarrassing”). However, the others haven’t stayed as quiet.

HSTikkyTokky’s response to Louis Theroux doc
Ahead of the film’s release, HSTikkyTokky actually paid Theroux a compliment.
“He’s very good at what he does. He came out three times, met my mum, met me on two different occasions. He will act like your friend then sting you with a difficult question. He’s smart and he’s good at his job,” he told the Bricks to Riches podcast.
However, he hasn’t been as diplomatic in recent days. The influencer has ripped into his critics in several videos, and in a recent tweet, he wrote: “Everyone hating on the Theroux documentary… are low-test men… and fat women.
“Angry at life… angry that they have no money and no opportunity. Robots. Sheep. Cattle confined within the system.”

In an Instagram story, he addressed one part of the doc directly. While calling Theroux a “great documentarian”, he took issue with any implication that his relationship with his dad (a famous rugby star) led to his behaviour online.
“What are you talking about, lad? Not true,” he said.
HSTikkyTokky denies ‘assault’ in Louis Theroux doc
HSTikkyTokky posted another clip from the doc, in which Theroux spoke to him about what appeared to be a live-streamed assault on a man on the street. In the doc, Theroux told him it “looked like an assault”, and he replied, “Yeah.”
When Theroux asked if that was the plan, he said, “Of course not. I’ve never done that in my life. You can’t just do that to a random person.”
According to HSTikkyTokky, the man who was reportedly assaulted was an alleged predator. “They’ve edited this to make it look like I did something. I didn’t touch him,” he wrote.

What has Andrew Tate said about Inside the Manosphere?
According to Louis Theroux, Andrew Tate declined to appear in Inside the Manosphere for two reasons: he asked for money (but Theroux said no), and he told Theroux he was “irrelevant”.
However, Tate’s version of why he turned it down is a bit different.
On X, he replied to someone who said it was “smart” for him not to participate in the documentary.
“I’m [a] legit A-list real celebrity,” he wrote. “Not a micro-internet celeb or streamer.”
Tate claimed he was offered £500,000 to appear in the doc. When he asked for £4 million, they allegedly declined.
“Everyone else did it for free lol. And they still use ME (man not in it) in all press to advertise it,” Tate added.
In another post, Tate once again claimed that he didn’t take part “because they couldn’t afford my fee”.
“And everybody else in it is so irrelevant that they have to use my photo, the man NOT in the show, to sell it. Main character,” he wrote.
Tate also reposted a video shared by Gaines, seemingly “exposing” Theroux. However, as you’ll see shortly, it does nothing of the sort.

Myron Gaines threatens to ‘expose’ Louis Theroux
Theroux meets Gaines three times in the documentary: once in a conversation with his ex, Angie, another time to appear on his Fresh and Fit Podcast, and we also see him speaking to Gaines in the gym.
That first interview, in which Theroux asks Angie about how she feels about their “one-way polygamous” relationship, appears to be Gaines’ biggest point of contention after the doc’s release.
“Hey, @louistheroux, why did you edit out this context-critical part from the Netflix documentary?” he wrote online, alongside a clip of an extended conversation between Theroux, Angie, and Gaines not seen in the documentary.
“Was it because it shows my ex accepted my one-way polygamous relationship which blows up the narrative you tried to spin in the ‘documentary’?” he added.
“This is JUST 1 of many clips I have proving your deceptive ‘journalism’. You’re a liar with an agenda, and it’s time for you to be exposed.”

Does the clip “expose” Theroux, as Gaines believes? Most people don’t think so.
“Myron’s laser focus on this one issue is a coping mechanism. He is not doing well, and 100% regrets his decision,” one user speculated. “You are taking this so, so badly. Every time you do something like this, you look worse. Leave it, move on, for God’s sake man have some dignity,” another commented.
Gaines also revealed he asked Theroux to remove the footage of him and Angie, “for her safety”.
In a video, Theroux can be heard telling Gaines he was wary of appearing to “silence a woman” and pointed out how Angie turns up on Gaines’ streams.
“I recorded hours of footage of Louis as insurance during filming. I also made a response video eight months go because I knew this would happen, so I let them take the bait,” he claimed in another X post.
So far, Gaines has yet to share anything that shows any sort of wrongdoing from Theroux or the doc’s production team.

Sneako defends Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere
Sneako is introduced towards the end of the documentary. He’s arguably the biggest streamer who actually appears in the doc (he has over one million followers on X, alone, and another 1.3m on YouTube).
While HSTikkyTokky and Gaines have been critical of the film, Sneako has actively praised it.
“This documentary accurately portrayed how the manosphere identified and capitalised on spiritual warfare without providing any actionable solution,” he wrote on X.
“But I don’t think you needed Louis Theroux to explain lambos and whores will not save you from porn and feminism.”

In a Kick stream, Sneako also said: “I thought it was pretty good; well-edited.”
“The reason Netflix is a dying medium is that so much can change in a year and a half,” he argued, noting how it included his support of Donald Trump, even though his views have changed since filming the doc.
“The timing is not good, but they did talk a lot about my reversion to Islam. They made it clear I’m a Muslim now… and I liked that.”
In Sneako’s eyes, it was an “overall fair” documentary and not the “hit piece” it’s been said to be.
