You're fired! The Apprentice ends on Lord Sugar's most brutal boardroom as sacked candidate picks winner
"From what I've seen, I would hire..."
The Apprentice episode 7 saw the departure of another candidate in one of this series’ most fiery boardrooms – and the sacked contestant has picked out who should win.
After last week’s disastrous Egypt trip and triple-firing, the candidates were tasked with making a “gamified VR product”. In other words, a video game that’s aimed at gym-goers and the fitness community.
For one team, excluding some quibbles about their logo and a rubbish pitch, it went pretty well. For the other side… not so much.
In the end, three candidates ended up in the firing line: Levi Hague, Rajan Gill, and Lawrence Rosenberg.

Who was fired in The Apprentice episode 7?
Rajan Gill was sacked in episode 7 of The Apprentice.
It was a somewhat surprising decision, given that Lawrence was the project manager and they secured four times less investment than the other team.
Also, not only was Lawrence’s lax mismanagement of the team a clear factor in their loss, but he also annoyed Sugar in the boardroom. When asked who he was bringing back, he said: “With respect, Lord Sugar, I think you have made your mind quite clear on Levi, so I’ll need to bring [him] back as well.”
“I find it a bit naughty… that’s not the way this process is supposed to work,” Sugar told him.

Sugar also honed in on Lawrence bringing Levi back because, otherwise, he’d be the only one accountable for the branding side. “Your own words hung yourself,” Sugar said.
When Sugar accused Lawrence of making a “nasty move”, he said: “I’ll regret that for the rest of my life.
And, yet, it wasn’t Lawrence who got the sack. Sugar fired Rajan, believing that he hadn’t been as consistent over the whole process. “I’m going on a gut feeling here, it may not be fair, but Rajan: you’re fired,” he told him.

Rajan Gill says this Apprentice candidate is the best
Speaking after leaving the process, Rajan said the experience of being on the show was “bittersweet”.
“Well, it’s never a great feeling. I think as candidates, we put so much into the process. So there is disappointment when you are sat there in the boardroom and you know, you ultimately see Lord Sugar’s finger point across towards you,” he said.
“Let’s say you’re watching the Olympics, you wouldn’t say that the people who don’t win are losers. No, they made it to the Olympics. Being a part of the actual show is such an incredible accolade I’ll always keep with me. So yes, there’s definitely a level of bittersweet.”

When asked who he’d hire, he picked out the candidate who’s widely predicted to win the whole thing: Karishma Vijay.
“From what I’ve seen, I would hire Karishma,” he said.
“From watching the show, I feel like for every single task, there’s always an element of Karishma in there. I think she’s fantastic.
“She always has something to do with the success of the task. She always has a speciality within a certain area of the task. I think she’s really adaptable and she’s very fair to work with. She’s a lovely girl.”
