Jade Scott is currently being portrayed as one of The Traitors’ Faithfuls, although the Secret Traitor is yet to be announced. But who is she?

The student is one of this year’s youngest contestants on the BBC show but she is arguably one of the more brighter sparks.

Away from the show, Jade leads an interesting life packed with travel and activity. She also held a pretty important job during the pandemic.

Here’s everything you need to know about Jade Scott from The Traitors, including details of her boyfriend and a volunteer mission to Africa.

Who is Jade Scott? How old is she?

Jade Scott is currently starring in series 4 of The Traitors. She is a PhD student and keen gamer. She claims to have good “problem solving skills” and also loves the gym.

When asked why she had signed up to The Traitors, Jade said: “I play a lot of video games which are similar to The Traitors, so I just thought, ‘Why would I not?’ as I do it in my spare time anyway.”

What is Jade’s PhD in?

Jade PhD is in women’s health and pregnancy. She has been doing her PhD at the University of Warwick in Coventry and was recently awarded her Associate Fellow.

Just three weeks ago, Jade wrote on her LinkedIn profile: “I have now received my Associate Fellowship with AdvanceHE (AFHEA)!

“Throughout my PhD there have been elements of supervising 3rd year undergraduates and Masters students in the lab as well as being a teaching assistant in undergraduate lab sessions. It goes without saying that teaching forms a massive part of working in academia.”

Prior to her PhD, Jade held an important job as a Covid Analyst. She carried out her work for the company Eurofins Laboratory in 2021, when the pandemic was still very prominent.

Does The Traitors’ Jade have a boyfriend?

Jade has got a boyfriend and shares pictures of him on Instagram. His name is Sam and he is a business owner. Sam founded a company called FEM, selling what he claims are the first nutritional bars aimed solely at women.

Recent Instagram snaps show the couple on holiday in destinations ranging from the Lake District to more tropical climes. Sam has not mentioned Jade’s appearance in The Traitors on his own social media accounts.

Jade and horse-riding

Although she is a keen gamer, Jade doesn’t spend all her time holed up indoors. She is also a really keen horsewoman.

Her Instagram is packed with amazing video clips and photographs of her riding horses on the beach.

Jade recently travelled to Essaouira in Morocco, where she spent the trip horse-riding through the dunes and sandy terrain.

Following her trip, Jade said: “Essouria, you were beautiful. PhD life can get really crazy. I don’t think I realised quite how full my plate is…

“It’s so important to also take a second to breathe and reset the mind and soul. I completed so many firsts! gallops, riding bareback and rearing. I can’t wait to do this again.”

Jade’s volunteer mission to Africa

Jade not only has brains, but she also has a heart too. She previously travelled to Africa to volunteer in a deprived area of the country.

She said of her trip: “[It] included teaching Maths and English in local primary and secondary schools, making stoves and bricks, planting trees in the nursery and visiting the local sexual health clinic.”

Prior to going to Africa, Jade had raised £1,000 to donate to the charity Ripple Africa. She also took collections of books, stationary and sanitary products to distribute to locals while there.
