'Everyday please!': This Morning viewers react to La Voix presenting on ITV show as Strictly star stands in for Sian Welby
La Voix had Cat Deeley in hystericsThis Morning viewers have welcomed La Voix onto their screens after she was brought in to replace Sian Welby.
La Voix appeared on Monday’s episode of the ITV daytime show to present the latest showbiz round up.
Sian usually hosts that segment of the programme, but had taken the day off.
And while viewers love Sian under normal circumstances, it appears they want to see more of La Voix too.
Why did La Voix replace Sian Welby on This Morning today?
Sian had a well-earned break from This Morning on Monday (June 8, 2026) following a very busy weekend.
The mum-of-one, who co-hosts Capital FM’s Breakfast Show, spent Saturday at Wembley Stadium along with the rest of her radio co-stars.
Sian and the gang were all at Capital’s Summertime Ball from morning until late at night, presenting both backstage and on stage. No wonder she fancied some time off on Monday!
Instead, La Voix was hauled in by This Morning bosses to host the show’s regular showbiz and celebrity news slot.

The star, who competed in last year’s Strictly Come Dancing, told main hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard about Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury welcoming their second baby.
She also chatted about Boyzone’s reunion concert at Emirates Stadium, and Dua Lipa’s wedding to Callum Turner. And she very quickly had Cat in hysterics.
Writing on X, one viewer asked This Morning: “Can we have La Voix on everyday please?”
Another fan remarked: “Cat is loving La Voix and I’m loving! She’s bringing out her fun, cheeky side which we need to see more of on This Morning.”
And a third penned: “La Voix was so iconic reading out the showbiz gossip in the segment!”
La Voix misses out on Strictly Come Dancing hosting job
La Voix had her first taste of fame in the 2024 series of BBC show RuPaul’s Drag Race. She then went on to become a household name after signing up to the 2025 series of Strictly Come Dancing.
La Voix – real name Chris Dennis – was extremely popular with viewers but sadly had to bow out of Strictly due to injury. She left with dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec just before the iconic Blackpool episode.
It was later reported that La Voix was in the running to become one of Strictly’s new hosts, following the departure of Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
However, despite impressing BBC bosses, Emma Willis and Josh Widdecombe have been confirmed as the new Strictly presenters. They will be joined by ‘roving reporter’, from show pro Johannes Radebe.
Chin up, though, La Voix. Keep impressing This Morning bosses as you could find yourself a regular on there instead!
