Kojo needs protecting at all costs
EastEnders viewers aren’t happy as the soap continued its current ‘cuckooing’ storyline involving Kojo Asare tonight.
In scenes that aired tonight (Monday, September 15), Kojo headed off to Luton to carry out a drug drop.
However, after it was completed, he went missing with Harry immediately worrying that something had happened to him.
Kojo waved George off in EastEnders tonight
George agreed to head off on his boxing tour tonight after being successfully convinced to do so by Kojo.
With Kojo telling George he’d be fine in Walford while he went away, George’s loved ones saw him off as he set out on his travels (and ultimately saved his life).
And, with George out of the way, Kojo, Harry, Okie and Ravi could get intensify their latest plan.
Off to Luton for Kojo
In the flat, Okie told Kojo that he needed to go to Luton to drop off some drugs. After finding out that Kojo was expected to go alone, Harry tried to protect him.
Realising that he wasn’t able to do anything about it, Harry sat a scared Kojo down and told him to contact him as soon as he completed the job.
But, after the job was done, Kojo failed to return.
Kojo ‘missing’ in EastEnders tonight
Okie returned after the job and told Harry Mitchell that he’d separated from Kojo at the station as he wasn’t sticking around when the police were there.
Harry panicked as he told Okie that Kojo’s vulnerable and can’t be left alone, having no idea what had happened to him. But, where’s Kojo? And, is he in trouble?
Fans furious with EastEnders’ Kojo storyline
With Kojo in danger, especially after his recent drug drop tonight, EastEnders fans have shared their upset over the storyline online and have found it and really difficult watch.
One fan on X wrote: “I think the Kojo storyline is one of the most disgusting stories EastEnders have done for a while. Introduce a great autistic actor whose character sparks a genuine friendship and put him nearly straight away in a drug grooming story.”
Another added: “Cuckooing storyline involving Kojo and Harry is harrowing.”
A third person contributed: “I will be writing Ofcom reports daily if EastEnders don’t wrap up this storyline of Kojo’s vulnerability being abused.”
A fourth shared: “The way Ravi and Okie, is treating Harry and Kojo needs to hurry up and finish. Not feeling this storyline. Harry needs to just tell his mum or George Knight what’s going on.”
