With Theo locking Summer in the corner shop and showing his true colours, Summer begged him to get out and leave her and Todd alone. But, with Theo no longer being subtle about showing his dark side, could he kill Summer? However, Theo still posed a huge threat on Todd’s loved ones. With Summer finding out that Carl Webster had been assaulted and taken to hospital, she couldn’t help but think that Theo was responsible. He then confirmed Summer’s worst fears, he had been in a position to help save Billy from the Corriedale crash… but, instead, he’d purposely left him to die. As Summer rushed to unlock the door and ordered Theo out, Theo enjoyed watched her suffer as he told her how much Billy had pleaded with him to rescue him before he died. (Credit: ITV) Huge ‘clue’ Harriet Bibby could be leaving Coronation Street as Summer Spellman With Theo threatening Summer and being desperate to continue controlling Todd’s life, it is possible that he might attempt to follow through with his threats. After all, he did leave Billy to die. So, it wouldn’t surprise us if he did the same to Summer too. Interestingly, actress Harriet Bibby has been busy taking on a new role on stage recently with some fans fearing that she’s secretly left the ITV soap. Harriet starred in the one-woman play My Name Is Rachel Corrie which debuted in Manchester in March, with fans wondering whether Summer could be leaving Weatherfield so that Harriet could have time to work on this new project. While the project is now over, fans feared that she must’ve finished filming as Summer before her play in March. One person on Instagram wrote: “Does this mean you are leaving Corrie? Please don’t go.” However, other fans wondered whether Summer’s character could survive but kill Theo instead. This would mean that she could briefly go to prison with the opportunity to return after Harriet finished the play. One person on Reddit suggested: “Summer will kill Theo. “Harriet Bibby is taking an extended break apparently soon – Theo essentially killed Billy and has been abusing her other dad Todd for ages. Imagine she found of both of these pieces of information at once, still caught up in her grief. “It would be a real shock to see her character do something like that so I think it’s possible…” Another replied: “This is my favourite theory so far.” But, will Summer leave the cobbles?
