It seems like it’s a pretty dreary time to be a Weatherfield resident right now, with danger and misery awaiting for them at every corner they turn. And some storylines have served more than their fair share. Carl just wants to take all of Debbie’s money (Credit: ITV) 1. Carl Webster’s schemes Carl Webster does not know the meaning of family loyalty, but poor Debbie does. She went to extreme lengths to protect her son and even spent months in prison for Billy’s death just so he could remain a free man. Now that Debbie’s back on the Street, Carl’s still after her money. Yes, still. And, the worst thing is, is that Debbie’s willing to hand it over after being guilt-tripped by him. Megan and Will affair After Sam exposed Will and Megan’s secret love affair, the Driscolls have been desperate to find evidence so that groomer Megan can pay for her crimes. However, Will’s telling everyone that nothing happened between them and that Sam got it all wrong. With the police unable to find proof, Megan’s currently getting away with it.Don't miss a single story! Tim and Trisha’s grooming history Last year Tim bumped into his old flame Trisha Marlow, resurfacing a past grooming history. Tim was only 14 when he dated adult Trisha, but didn’t realise what had happened to him back then. The storyline went quiet for months and has now been brought back up as a result of Will’s grooming storyline. Tim’s now desperate to confront Trisha and get some answers, but tracking down his ex is proving to be difficult. Tim needs answers now. Not in another three months time. He’s already waited so long. Todd needs to escape once and for all (Credit: ITV) 4. Todd and Theo’s abuse storyline Todd and Theo’s abuse storyline has been a difficult watch, and every time we think that Todd is able to escape from Theo… well, Theo finds a way to lure him back in. Now that the couple are married, an escape looks set to be rather difficult. But, with spoilers for next week showing that Todd finally tells the police about Theo’s abuse, there’s hope. We can’t stand watching Todd endure anymore suffering, so this storyline needs to wrap up right now. We just want to give Todd the biggest of hugs!
