A new Coronation Street promo has dropped tonight, and it has teased a huge dinner party with even bigger consequences. Next week, scenes will reveal who exactly bumped off Theo back in April! What starts as a seemingly ordinary evening on the cobbles soon turns into a full-scale showdown, with grudges resurfacing, fingers being pointed and more than a few uncomfortable truths making their way onto the menu. A string of flashbacks will take fans back to the night in April when Theo’s body was discovered. The drama kicks off earlier in the day when Kit learns that Sarah has invited Todd and Summer round for dinner. Never one to miss an opportunity to stir the pot, Kit decides to widen the guest list. And it isn’t long before Gary and Sarah find themselves at the centre of the storm. Maria spots an opening and wastes no time in putting her suspicions on the table. She goes for it and accuses Gary and Sarah of having an affair. It’s a claim that threatens to send shockwaves through the group and turns an already awkward evening into something far more explosive. However, Maria isn’t the only person who has noticed that something seems off. Kit has also clocked Gary and Sarah’s strange behaviour and is keen to find out exactly what’s been going on. As the questions keep coming and the atmosphere becomes increasingly uncomfortable, it soon becomes clear that several guests have more than one secret they’re desperate to keep hidden. With more than one attendee having a reason to want Theo out of the picture, nobody can be ruled out. By the end of the night, the mystery will finally be cracked, the killer will be revealed and several other bombshells could leave relationships hanging by a thread. One thing’s for certain – this is one dinner party the residents of Weatherfield won’t be forgetting any time soon.
