A flashback saw her hit Theo with a pole, sending him catapulting over the scaffolding and to the ground. Gary Windass then helped her cover up the murder. But, fans weren’t thrilled with the grand reveal. Sarah bumped off Theo (Credit: ITV) Sarah bumped off Theo in Coronation Street Yesterday on the cobbles, Sarah struggled to keep everything together as the situation around her began to unravel, with old tensions resurfacing and suspicions refusing to stay buried. Kit Green had gone to a lot of effort planning what he thought would be a perfect romantic dinner with Sarah, even quietly hoping it might end in a proposal. But those plans started to slip away when Sarah cancelled their lunch to go and meet Gary at the yard instead. Kit clocked the frosty energy between them and couldn’t shake the feeling that something wasn’t adding up. Sarah invited Todd and Summer along, prompting Kit to counter by bringing Gary and Maria into the mix, turning what should have been a relaxed drink into an uncomfortably crowded affair. Later on, at the dinner party, Maria then took centre stage, raising a toast before dropping a bombshell suggestion that Gary and Sarah had been secretly involved for weeks. The accusation hung in the air and changed the mood instantly. Sarah hit breaking point when she cut her hand on broken glass. The shock of it triggered vivid flashbacks to April 23rd and the night Theo Silverton died. In her memory, she confronted Theo up on scaffolding and a heated argument spiralled out of control. In a moment of rage, she struck him with a pole and he fell. Panicked, she called Gary, who helped cover up what had happened. Back in the present, Gary stormed out, determined to tell Maria everything, while Sarah was left staring down the fallout. She wasn’t even one of the six official suspects. They now believe that making Sarah the killer was the ‘wrong decision,’ believing that somebody else should’ve bumped Theo off. When discussing whether they were pleased about the reveal on Facebook, one person wrote: “No, should have been Gary Windass.” Another person commented: “What a anticlimax, is it the best they could come up with?” A third asked: “When was she mentioned in the line up ? Bit far fetched.” A fourth person added: “No, I wanted it to be his wife.” But, whether fans like it or not, Sarah’s now an official Corrie killer.
