Taking to Instagram, Cait revealed the emotional news that her grandad had recently passed away. Last week, she paid a special tribute to her late family member, giving him the title of ‘Greatest Grandad,’ after attending his funeral. My best mate till the day I die, always and forever your little dancing queen RIP GDAD.” Article Continues Below Read all the latest Spoilers The post came as Cait attended her grandad’s funeral, with the actress calling him her ‘hero.’ In January, Cait shared the sad news that her beloved grandad had passed away just days before his birthday. She shared a number of black of white photos of her grandad onto her Stories, and shared: “Happy heavenly birthday to my best buddy.” Lauren is dating Ollie (Credit: ITV) What’s coming up for Lauren Bolton in Coronation Street Viewers of Coronation Street will know that Cait plays the role of Lauren Bolton on the ITV soap. Lauren’s had a rollercoaster of a time on the cobbles over the years, but she seems to be on her way to happiness at the moment. Landing herself a job behind the Rovers bar, Lauren fits right in with the Driscoll bunch – even if she does take her time in serving the punters. But, painting her nails is more of a priority, we guess! She’s also found a spark with the eldest of the Driscoll lads – Ollie. The talented chef had taken a shine to Lauren and soon invites her out on a date this week. Spoilers reveal that Lauren’s nervous as she tells Betsy and Carla all about her date plans with Ollie. The pair then help find her something to wear to impress him with. The pair seem to hit it off because it isn’t long before Ollie invites Lauren out again!
