Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd announces he's expecting baby with wife Hanni Treeweek

Coronation Street and David Platt star Jack P Shepherd has announced that he and his wife are expecting a baby.

Taking to Instagram today (Saturday, February 14) on Valentine’s Day, Jack shared the exciting news.

This will be the couple’s first baby together, coming six months after they got wed in July 2025.

Taking to his Instagram page, Jack chose Valentine’s Day to share not only his love for his wife Hanni but also for a soon-to-be new arrival in the family.

Sharing a reel of Hanni wearing a white dress and sporting a baby bump, Jack could also be seen standing by her side and holding a little pair of baby boots.

They enjoyed a shoot, walking through some picturesque grounds to mark the new chapter for their family. The video was accompanied by the song ‘Back to You’ by Benjamin Gordon.

He captioned the post: “We’ve been keeping a secret…June 2026. Thank you so much to the dream team who made this so special for us.”

Jack already has two children from his previous relationship to Lauren Shippey – daughter Nyla who is 17, and son Reuben who is 12. However, this will be his and Hanna’s first child together.

Coronation Street co-stars rush to congratulate Jack P Shepherd on baby news

Responding to Jack and Hanni’s post today, Jack’s Coronation Street co-stars have rushed to congratulate the couple on their announcement.

Vicky Myers, who plays DS Lisa Swain on the ITV soap, wrote: “What wonderful news! Congratulations.”

Sally Carman, who plays mechanic Abi Webster, contributed: “How very lovely. Congratulations,” alongside a yellow heart emoji.

Natalie Anderson commented: “Oh wonderful !!! Huge congratulations to you both.”

Fellow On the Sofa podcaster and former PC Craig Tinker star Colson Smith teased: “Can’t wait to be Fairy GodMother.”

Billy Mayhew actor Daniel Brocklebank also shared: “Congratulations you two!”

Andy Whyment also congratulated the expecting couple, writing: “Congratulations to you both, fantastic news.”
