But while Max and Cindy plot together, Jasmine is still planning to flee Walford… and she isn’t the only one. Tomorrow’s episode (Thursday, January 22) will see Oscar also planning to leave with his girlfriend, while across the Square, Phil pushes ahead with his plans to take Nigel to Portugal. Max wants Jasmine out of Walford (Credit: BBC) EastEnders: Max and Cindy plot their revenge Having both been wronged by newcomer Jasmine since she arrived in Walford, Max and Cindy have vowed to put an end to her lies. Not only did Jasmine recently threaten Cindy that she would tell the notorious Ford family where she is, but she also accused Max of trying to kiss her. Article continues below Read all the latest spoilers As it stands, the grim truth that Jasmine is the one who killed Anthony Trueman on Christmas Day is still under wraps. Desperate to flee Walford and all the chaos she has caused, Jasmine asked Oscar to leave with her. But Max worked out she was running from something, and tried to stop his son from leaving. However, Jasmine pulled out her trump card by claiming Max had tried to kiss her. With a reputation like Max’s, Jasmine knew people were going to believe her over Max. However, what she didn’t count on was arch enemies Max and Cindy joining forces to bring her down once and for all. Tonight’s episode saw Cindy gloating over the fallout of Max’s alleged kiss. She told Max that she’d warned him how dangerous Jasmine could be, and seemed happy that she had been proved right. Can Cindy and Max bring down Jasmine together? (Credit: BBC) EastEnders: Max and Cindy joined forces When Cindy told Max that she believed he hadn’t tried it on with Jasmine, he hinted that maybe she could help him expose Jasmine’s lies. But Cindy was adament this was karma for what he did to Steven and refused to help. However, a run in if her own with Jasmine soon changed her mind. When Jasmine told Cindy that she enjoyed the feeling she got from pushing her down the stairs, Cindy saw red. But it was only when Jasmine threatened to expose her whereabouts to the notorious Ford family that Cindy really panicked. Knowing that Jasmine would stop at nothing to cover her lies, Cindy called Max. The pair agreed to put their feud behind them for the time being and instead joined forces to bring Jasmine down. But can they run her out of town, without Oscar leaving too? Phil is adamant he is leaving Walford tomorrow (Credit: BBC/Jack Barns/Kieron McCarron) Phil plans to leave the country in secret Phil has also been planning to escape Walford in a bid to stop Nigel from going into a care home. So far, the only person who knows about Phil’s trip is Sam. And, despite trying to talk her big brother out of it, Phil won’t listen. Phil is adamant that Nigel’s wife, Julie, doesn’t need to know. As far as he is concerned, she just wants to ship Nigel off to a care home. Convinced that Portuguese sunshine is what Nigel needs, Phil has been forging ahead with his plan. Even Sam trying to make him see that his family needs him wasn’t enough to make him see sense. The drama continues tomorrow As Oscar announces he is planning to leave with Jasmine, Max and Cindy up their game to expose Jasmine’s lies. But while they are plotting, Phil is also planning an escape as he continues with his idea to take Nigel abroad. While Sam knows Phil is leaving, she has bigger things to worry about, like her operation for breast cancer. Phil promises to be there for her, but as soon as Sam comes out of surgery, he is planning to flee. While Sam heads to the hospital with Ricky and Jack, Denise tells George she is worried about Phil. Later, Sam is pleased to have her big brother there when she wakes up. However, she accidentally lets slip about Phil’s plans for Nigel in front of George, who then goes to tell Denise. Can Phil’s friends and family stop him from leaving, or will we have four major exits on our hands? What else happened in EastEnders tonight? While Max and Cindy plotted their revenge, Kat started to realise Jean might have been right about Jasmine after all. Elsewhere, Elaine and Ian's battle of the businesses stepped up a gear and George made a deal with the devil. Here's everything else that happened in EastEnders tonight... Kat quizzed Jean Knowing that something didn't add up about Jasmine's claims that Max tried it on with her, Kat started to wonder if there might be some truth to Jean's claims. She called Jean to find out why she was so convinced that Jasmine killed Anthony. Soon, everything Jean was saying started to make sense. Jean admitted she would do things differently if she could go backin time, and play the long game with Jasmine. Kat was given food for thought, deciding to keep a close eye on her granddaughter. Could she be the one to work out who really killed Anthony on Christmas Day? Elaine gets her revenge Elaine and Ian's petty feud continued when Ian realised Elaine's garish sign for Peacock Palace wasn't going anywhere. Little did he know, Elaine had struck up a mutually beneficial deal with Councillor Barker. When Ian decided to help Harvey with his marketing for the laundrette and cab office, he put his face all over the flyers. The temptation was too much for Elaine, and she stole the lot, defaced the flyers, and posted them around the market. George played wth fire George was disappointed when his offer for Walford East was turned down because he was £10k short. Nicola offered to loan him the money he needed to get the restaurant, but with Billy's words of warning ringing in his ears, George turned her down. However, some advice from Sam made him realise he would be mad to lose out on his dream business venture, and he asked Nicola if the offer still stood.
