Teddy took the rap after discovering that Harry had accidentally killed Okie, claiming to have done so in self-defence. At the station, he was horrified when dodgy brief Ritchie informed him that the police would be charging him with murder. Elsewhere, as George clashed with Junior, he was troubled at Kobina’s instruction that Kojo return to Ghana. Are Teddy and Kojo both leaving EastEnders? Teddy told the police that he’d killed Okie (Credit: BBC) Teddy confessed to killing Okie in EastEnders tonight At the station, Teddy told officers his version of what had happened. He claimed that he’d gone around the flat to find Okie there, alone, with a knife. A fight had broken out, Teddy said, and he killed Okie in self-defence. As the family got involved, Billy alerted Phil to what had happened. Phil, naturally, gave Ritchie a bell. Things aren’t good between George and Junior (Credit: BBC) George and Junior clashed as Kojo’s future looks uncertain Meanwhile, across the Square, George broke the news to Koko that Okie had been killed. As Kojo blamed himself for sending Teddy to the flat in the first place, George snapped at Junior for interfering, telling him that he should seriously consider taking the job in Dubai. Tensions came to a head when Junior and George arrived to find Nicola at Phil’s place, discussing the Teddy situation. As Junior raged at Nicola for not protecting Kojo, George stepped in, demanding that his son back off. Later, George tried to make amends with Junior at the gym. Junior threw it back in his face though, accusing him of still having feelings for Nicola. Once alone, George opened a message from Kobina – Kojo would have to return to Ghana. She informed Teddy that the police had spoken to the CPS – and the news wasn’t good. As Nicola tried to put on a normal front for the boys, she took a call from Teddy – who informed her that he was being charged with murder. Is Teddy going to prison? George attempts to extend another olive branch to Junior, but his son is shocked when he hears about Kojo’s exit from Walford. Overhearing, Kojo panics. Junior tries to reassure Kojo – and pays Ravi a visit. But what business does Junior have with Ravi? And will he decide to leave Walford for sunny Dubai? What else happened on EastEnders tonight? As news of Teddy's arrest broke, another horrific crime was dredged up when Vicki stepped in to defend Tommy against Denzel and Nugget. She was horrified when Amy informed her how Tommy had kept Joel hidden after the attack, and confronted him in The Vic. Vicki confronted Tommy In the café, Vicki was perturbed to see Nugget and Denzel giving Tommy a hard time. Jumping to his defence, she pointed out how he'd done the right thing, and shopped Joel to the police. Spotting Vicki and Tommy sharing a reconciliatory hot chocolate, Amy decided to stick her oar in - telling Vicki how Tommy had helped hide Joel after the attack. Faced with this new information, Vicki stormed across to The Vic, where she confronted Tommy. As Tommy apologised, Kat came to her son's defence, offering Vicki a shoulder to cry on in her time of need. Nigel gave the greenlight Ritchie's words still playing on his mind, Nigel received a visit from Lexi. She'd read Nigel's script, and wanted to put the shoot the film on her phone. However, he was in no mood for visitors, and snapped back at her. Later, in the Square park, Julie showed Nigel's script to Kim, earmarking a role for the Kimfluencer. Kim found Nigel at the launderette, where she pitched herself in the role of Police Officer no.2. Back home, Nigel revisited his script. As he confided in Phil, Nigel revealed his fear that he was fading, and no longer the man he used to be. After some reassuring words from Phil, Nigel was all in on the film, and sat down for his first official production meeting with Lexi and Julie.
