EastEnders on Tuesday July 1 saw a double farewell for Bernie Taylor

and Felix Baker. But not before Bernie bled Suki dry.

Elsewhere, Lauren and Peter reunited and Kat was at her wits’ end over missing Alfie.

Here’s everything that went down in EastEnders tonight.

Bernie took her money and ran

After Bernie lied Vicki Fowler was stealing from the Panesars, Ravi was determined to teach Vicki a lesson. Suki insisted she would deal with it – she clearly knew Bernie was behind it and had to tred carefully.

Ravi, however, took matters into his own hands and kidnapped Joel, locking him in the freezer at Walford East until Vicki confessed.

She insisted it wasn’t her and accused Bernie, but Bernie continued to blame Vicki. Suki told her to get the money back in 24 hours or she wouldn’t hold Ravi back.

Ravi soon started to suspect Bernie and called her over with the accounts, bank statements and all the transactions. Bernie arrived with her laptop and Priya ‘accidentally’ spilled a washing up bowl all over it – so they could get Vinny to install spyware on a new one and catch Bernie out.

Meanwhile, Bernie booked a plane ticket out of Walford for good. She begged Felix to go with her, but he said he needed to stay here as he had a boyfriend and a life there. Still, Bernie got him a ticket and a boarding pass just in case.

Elsewhere, Suki was getting stressed – she knew full well it was Bernie stealing the money, but couldn’t do anything about it because of her Keanu secret.

Bernie went to her daughter’s grave and said goodbye to her, tearful that she was leaving her.

Suki arrived to confront Bernie just as she was getting into her taxi. But Bernie begged Suki to let her leave and be free, Linda, Kathy and Denise all told Suki to let Bernie go – “It’s only money” they said. Sure, it’s only money when it’s not yours Bernie is stealing! Feels a little unfair on Suki, dontchathink?

Felix went too in EastEnders on Tuesday

Although Felix was insistent he was staying in Walford with Johnny, Bernie put the boot in and told Felix Johnny knew about Keanu and everything changed for him.

He went to confront his boyfriend – but found him kissing Callum!

Right, so that’s them over then!

Dressed as Taramisu, Felix climbed into the taxi with Bernie ready to start a new life in Spain. So long!

Kat found out the ‘truth’ about Alfie

At her wits’ end unable to contact Alfie and seeing Tommy with stolen vapes, Kat confided in Stacey that Alfie was MIA. Stacey lied she hadn’t heard from him, but then Jean revealed Stacey had in fact spoken to Alfie and Kat went ballistic.

She insisted on calling Spencer to talk to Alfie and Spencer soon gave away that Alfie wasn’t in Australia at all. Kat then confronted Stacey who admitted Alfie was in Spain – but lied again that Alfie needed to clear his head because he had a cancer scare and needed space. Kat seemed to buy it, but she was far from happy.

Peter and Lauren made up in EastEnders on Tuesday

Peter and Lauren were still at war and Kathy tried to appease them both, pushing them back together. He made the first move and when little Jimmy cooed, relations softened between them.

And before too long they kissed and made up!

But Cindy was not happy and warned Lauren to stop making goo-goo eyes at Zack and focus on Peter. Will Laruren heed her words?

Also in EastEnders on Tuesday…

Elaine was recovering in hospital after her heart attack, but had made sure none of the glamour had gone. Gina went to visit her and Elaine revealed she was going to give George all he is entitled to in the divorce – no more fighting.

Walford Pride was happening, but Callum was upset after missing a call from Ben – who is in solitary confinement for fighting for the forth time. It’s clear long-distance jailed love is taking its toll. Nevermind, though, because Johnny was there to cheer him up.

And as they grew closer, they shared a moment witnessed by Bernie. Clearly Johnny was struggling with his commitment to Felix and it showed. Especially when they then kissed as well. Will these two get together now?
