Has Ravi killed Nugget? The aftermath revealed after Ravi's sickening attack on his son

What has Ravi done?
Joel Harley

A confused Ravi Gulati attacked Nugget in EastEnders tonight (Thursday, January 8), as his terrible hallucinations continued. Drugged by a vengeful Nicola, Ravi was visited by the spectre of his dead father, Nish, who went on to mock his son from beyond the grave.

Lashing out, Ravi turned violent… with grave consequences for poor Nugget.

Nish returned in EastEnders tonight

A drugged up Ravi lay in the pit of The Arches, suffering hallucinations of his family – including evil dead dad Nish, who continued to mock him from beyond the grave. Crawling out of the pit, Ravi came face-to-face (so to speak) with the spectre of his dad.

Tormented by visions of a more-menacing-than-ever Nish, Ravi managed to stagger out of The Arches, onto the street outside.

Meanwhile, with Ravi still missing, Vinny, Nugget and Priya continued their search. Nugget arrived at The Arches, where Nicola had turned up to check on Harry. In an attempt to keep him clear of the scene of the crime, she agreed to help with the search, taking Nugget off to McClunky’s.

However, she instead took the opportunity to twist the knife – revealing everything he’d done to Harry and Kojo over the last few months. Nugget stormed outside, where Ravi was wandering the streets of Walford… drugged up, and taunted by the ghost of nasty Nish Panesar.

Ravi attacked Nugget

Hitting back against his dead dad’s mockery, Ravi grew violent and attacked – battering a sneering Nish. Bad news for Nugget, who’d found his dad, and found himself on the receiving end of Ravi’s violent rage.

Meanwhile, Harry arrived at his Barn, where he informed Nicola that Ravi had gone missing. Nicola assured him that Ravi couldn’t have hurt a fly in his state – unaware that, only a few streets away, Nugget was lying broken and bleeding in the street.

Still searching for Ravi, Vinny was shocked as he stumbled across Nugget’s unconscious body. And, as the episode ended, Priya fell into a panic as he was rushed to the hospital.

Is Nugget dead? Ravi shocked as Priya faces police questioning in EastEnders next week

As the soap continues next week, Ravi wakes up on the street. He returns home, where he begins charging his phone.

He’s shocked when he gets a message from Priya, who reveals what’s happened. He confesses to attacking Nugget, leaving Priya shaken.

Later, he’s rattled when the police demand to speak to Priya about Nugget. Will she reveal that Ravi was responsible?

What else happened in EastEnders tonight?

As Ravi came face-to-face with his dad again, another reunion continued at the local school. Reminded of her own past, Linda began to feel guilty... and attempted to make up to old schoolmate Bea.

Meanwhile, Jasmine bonded with Lily as Alfie caught up with Jean, while Sam worried about Phil's plans for Nigel.

Here's everything else that happened in EastEnders tonight.

Linda made amends with Bea

As Linda's school reunion continued, she attempted to justify herself to Bea, who insisted she'd made her life hell. Linda stormed out, grabbing Honey's bag as they left.

Back at Peacock Palace, Honey began to feel guilty about how they'd acted toward Bea. Realising that they'd picked up her bag by mistake (talk about adding insult to injury), Linda decided to track Bea down to her home to apologise.

They arrived on the scene to find Bea being (bea'ing) kicked out of her flat by an unforgiving landlord. After apologising for taking her bag, guilty Linda offered her a place to stay at Peacock Palace.

Jasmine bonded with Lily

Alfie caught up with Jean on the tube, where he attempted to help her see sense. While she admitted that she hadn't been feeling herself lately, she remained convinced that Jasmine's no good.

Meanwhile, back in The Vic, Jasmine tried to make things right with Lily. As she sat down for a chat, Lily filled her in on the full Slater family tree, from Little Mo (not to be confused with the cat) to uncle Kyle, who's working for a charity in Africa.

Phil made plans for Nigel

Phil revealed to Sam that he'd changed the date of his flights so that he could support her in her lumpectomy. He was still planning on taking Nigel to Portugal though - against Sam's (for once) very reasonable misgivings.
