But while Phil has been harbouring the secret that Jake killed his own brother for two decades, he offered some sage advice when it came to family. Little did he know that his advice would lead to another face from the past returning to Walford. Jake told Phil that Danny’s death still haunted him in EastEnders (Credit: BBC) Jake went to see Phil in EastEnders With Alfie still in the dark about what really happened to Danny, he was convinced his cousin was still alive and well. Until now, Jake has avoided all mention of Danny, changing the subject when Alfie mentioned him and pretending he also hadn’t heard from his little brother. Instead, Jake went to see the only other person on the Square who knows his secret – Phil. Article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Despite not having seen each other in years, Phil welcomed Jake into his home and reminded him he would always be grateful for what he did for him and Grant. Jake admitted he was haunted every day by the fact that he’d accidentally shot his own sibling, and asked Phil to tell him it was worth it. While Phil wouldn’t be drawn into talking about his own life, he did tell Jake that he should do right by what family he has left. This gave Jake something to think about, and he went back to The Vic and told Alfie that he would help him and Kat find Chrissie. He admitted to Alfie that while he didn’t know where his ex is, he could ask her to come to him. He set up a trap, telling Chrissie that he was sorry and made a mistake about their relationship, asking if they could meet. While he waited for a reply, Alfie tried to distract Jake with old family photos and for a moment it seemed like Jake was about to confess what really happened in the woods all those years ago. Frustratingly, Kat interrupted Alfie and Jake’s heart-to-heart before Jake could reveal the truth. But could this be a secret about to come out any time? Jake nervously waits for Chrissie to meet him in EastEnders (Credit: BBC) The drama continues tomorrow After getting a message from Chrissie to say she would meet him, Jake is nervous about their reunion. Knowing they have set a trap, Kat and Jake wait to see if Chrissie walks into it. But if she does arrive in Walford tomorrow, will she tell them what they want to hear? Spoilers have revealed that Chrissie is back in Albert Square by next week, and she is bringing another villain with her – Jasmine. But where does this leave Jake’s relationship with his ex? What else happened in EastEnders tonight? As well as Jake confronting the ghosts from his past, Priya was also on a mission to protect Ravi by getting closer to Mark Jr. Also, Max and Linda shared a kiss, but Bea overheard a secret that could threaten their happiness... Priya befriended Mark Jr Still reeling from the news about Ravi being a police informant, Priya was fuming. However, when they got a call from the hospital to say Nugget had suffered another seizure, they put their fight aside to be with their son. After Nugget was officially diagnosed with having epilepsy, Ravi's guilt overwhelmed him. Priya sat him down and he confessed he didn't know how much longer he could carry on. Priya was shocked when Ravi admitted Mark Jr was in the same gang and was looking for a rat. Knowing she needed to help, Priya came up with a plan. Later in The Vic, she sat with Mark and Vicki, pretending to make small talk. However, she was really using it as a chance to dig information on Mark. Will her plan work? Max and Linda kissed, but Bea is ready to ruin their happiness After a stressful day where Ollie was targeted by the school bully again, Linda was at breaking point. Still oblivious that Max was hiding the fact that it was Louie who had been hitting Ollie, she thanked Max for all his help and cooked him dinner. Later, as Linda and Max had a heart-to-heart, they ended up kissing. However, Bea could ruin everything. After overhearing Max talking to Lauren about Louie being the bully, Bea was surprised to hear Max ask Lauren to keep the news from Linda.
