Jasmine finally made her long-awaited return to Walford in today’s EastEnders, prompting a showdown with Chrissie – but tomorrow sees more drama unfold when Jasmine is arrested, and she draws Oscar into her twisted web of lies.

Still reeling from Chrissie’s claims that Jasmine killed Anthony, Kat was on a mission to bring her granddaughter back to Walford.

After a tip off from Chrissie, she tracked Jasmine down at a cafe in Peckham, where she has been working since running away.

Anthony’s funeral got underway

As Patrick struggled with the enormity of saying a final goodbye to Anthony, Kat begged Jasmine to come home. However, Jasmine didn’t want to know and bluntly told Kat where to go.

Meanwhile, back at The Vic, Sam had been recruited by Kat to babysit Chrissie and Jake.

As Chrissie and Sam caught up, Sam opened up to Chrissie about her cancer treatment and revealed she had been given the all clear by doctors.

As everyone gathered for Anthony’s wake in the pub, Oscar was surprised to see Chrissie and Jake. He followed them upstairs and grilled Chrissie about Jasmine, intrigued to meet the woman who his girlfriend claimed made her life hell.

But it was Chrissie who got the last laugh, telling Oscar that Jasmine was the one who killed Anthony, leaving him stunned.

Jasmine returned to Walford

After some serious persuasion, Kat finally got Jasmine to come home. Jasmine was reunited with Patrick, giving him something to smile about for the first time in weeks.

But as Kat took her granddaughter upstairs to talk, Jasmine was stunned to come face-to-face with Chrissie and realised she had walked into a trap.

As Chrissie tried to drag the truth from Jasmine – literally – Kat told Chrissie to leave them while they talked.

Kat begged Jasmine to open up, telling her that whatever she’s done, she will protect her from prison.

Eventually, Jasmine finally confessed that she was the one who killed Anthony. But what will Kat do now that she’s had her greatest fears confirmed?

The drama continues in EastEnders tomorrow when Jasmine is arrested

Jasmine vanishes again tomorrow, leaving Kat terrified that she has done another runner. However, it isn’t long before Jasmine returns, and this time she has the murder weapon with her.

Kat is stunned when Jasmine tells Kat they should use the weapon to frame Chrissie. However, before she can put her plan into action, the police arrive and arrest Jasmine.

Terrified that she is going to go down for murder, Jasmine begs Oscar for help. She asks him to find evidence that proves she acted in self-defence. With Jasmine’s pleas ringing in his ears, Oscar leaps into action. But will he help Jasmine? Or has she hurt him one too many times now?

What else happened in EastEnders tonight?

As well as Kat and Chrissie joining forces to bring Jasmine back to Walford, Max tried to make amends with Linda.

Elsewhere, Patrick struggled at Anthony's funeral, and Howie and Big Mo returned.

Max tried to put things right

Determined to make up with Linda, Max told Elaine that he would get Ian to drop his vendetta against her.

After confessing to Lauren that he had honest feelings for Linda, Max tried to make Ian see sense. However, with Ian in full 'Counsellor Beale' mode, Max didn't get very far.

Lauren told her dad to be honest with Linda, but to tread carefully as Linda was fragile and one knockback could send her spiralling.

Patrick struggled to say goodbye

It was the day of Anthony's funeral, and Patrick struggled with the enormity of it all. After the service, the family held a wake at The Vic, but Patrick didn't want to be there and asked to go home.

However, when Jasmine arrived, he changed his tune and decided to say a few words about his son. Has he finally got some of the closure he deserves?

Howie and Big Mo returned

Howie returned to Walford for the first time since December. He was back for Anthony's funeral, and although no one in the family seemed pleased to see him, Kim thanked him for coming to pay his respects.

Big Mo also returned to Walford after visiting Lynne. She was back to help Kat with her mission to get Zoe out of prison, but is she sticking around?
