With the Carters in chaos, it looked like things were falling apart. Things started to go wrong when a worried Linda told her mum that she wanted to sell The Queen Vic. Tensions were already running high when the police showed up to speak to the women about the underage drinking incident. Fortunately, the cops told Linda and Elaine that they weren’t taking things further, but it was a reminder that things weren’t going well. Linda and Elaine were off the hook but their troubles weren’t over (Credit: BBC) EastEnders tonight: Problems for Linda and Elaine Worried about her miserable mum, Linda ended up sharing her woes with George, who urged her to see things from Elaine’s point of view. But before Linda could make things right, Elaine jumped to the conclusion that her daughter was plotting with her ex behind her back. She marched off to the bank, determined to get the money she needed to buy Linda out of the pub. Deflated and desperate, Elaine tried to manipulate Johnny into becoming her silent partner, but he turned her down too. Emotional, Elaine flipped. She threw everyone out of the pub and she had a fierce row with Linda, as the pair exchanged some pretty nasty words. Linda felt guilty about her row with Elaine (Credit: BBC) Then things took a turn as Elaine collapsed! A guilty Linda and Johnny ran to her side, thinking she was having a panic attack. Elaine convinced them she was feeling better. Relieved, Linda told her son she wouldn’t sell – she’d keep the pub after all. Johnny encouraged her to do what was best for herself. But back in the bar, Elaine had collapsed again! Johnny called an ambulance, and when Callum arrived to check on Elaine, he took charge. It seems the tough times aren’t over for the Carter/Peacock/Knight family after all. What else happened in EastEnders tonight? In EastEnders tonight (Monday, June 30), there were money problems for the Panesars, for Vicki and for Bernie! Elswhere, Ravi was suspicious, Kathy and Suki were worried about being found out, and Tommy was in trouble - again. Vicki played dirty in EastEnders tonight Vicki and Ross got bad news when Zack told them Sharon wanted them out of her house because they hadn't repaid their debt. Vicki took matters into her own hands and spoke to Bernie about getting a payrise. But her questions about the Panesars' accounts got guilty Bernie's back up and she fired Vicki! Suspicious, Vicki managed to steal Bernie's laptop. She checked the accounts and realised Bernie had been stealing. Seeing her chance, Vicki blackmailed Bernie into giving her half the embezzled cash, and her job back! Later, Bernie told Felix about her problems. When he warned her to stay away from the Panesars, she filled him in on The Six, and what they did to Keanu. Meanwhile, Vicki spoke to Zack about convincing Sharon to let them stay. But when Kathy got wind of what Vicki was up to, she told her to tread carefully with Vicki. Ravi was suspicious in EastEnders tonight Ravi and Priya were doubtful about Bernie's abilities to run the Panesars' accounts, though Suki told them their suspicions were based on nothing. Later, Kathy told Suki what Bernie had been doing, but meanwhile Ravi and Priya were confronting Bernie. She put the blame on Vicki, telling them she was the thief. Stacey came home Stacey and the kids arrived back in Walford after their time away. But her odd behaviour put Kat on edge, and she was soon quizzing her cousin about what was really going on. Stacey stayed tight-lipped, fibbing that she'd just been missing Lily, when Kat asked questions. Joel caused more trouble Meanwhile, Joel was getting up to his old tricks when he encouraged Tommy to steal vapes from the Minute Mart.
