Ravi targeted George as he grew suspicious of the goings-on at Kojo’s flat, demanding answers from Harry and Okie. After hearing that George had been sniffing around, Ravi decided to take matters into his own hands – and plotted to ‘silence’ George. Can conflicted Harry protect George? George knows something is afoot (Credit: BBC) George’s suspicions grew in EastEnders tonight Harry was feeling the worse for wear after a late night on the beers (and, knowing Harry, probably something else). Frustrated by her dad’s pestering, Gina stormed out, but George remained convinced that something was afoot. His suspicions grew when he saw Okie enter Kojo’s flat, and realised that the locks had been changed. Tonight's episode of EastEnders also saw Zoe Slater return home from the hospital following the shooting. In a day which went from bad to worse, she found herself verbally abused by Vicki Fowler, before returning to The Vic where she found news of her ordeal plastered all over the local newspaper. Elsewhere, Howie surprised Kim with a new (ish) car, and Zack got some job news. Here's what else happened in EastEnders tonight. Zoe returned to Walford At the hospital, DS Spencer tried to reassure Zoe that she was in no danger, and that she'd been caught in the middle of an unrelated gang shooting. Reluctantly, Zoe was forced to return to Walford, where the day from hell awaited. As Zoe climbed out of the taxi, she ran straight into the man responsible - a shame-faced Jack, who continued to try and bury his guilt. It wasn't long before Zoe grew overwhelmed by the overenthusiastic Slater welcome committee, and took herself over to the café to decompress. Pulling up a pew next to Anthony, she was looking up Greg Dolan when Vicki Fowler arrived to harangue her. Still holding Zoe responsible for dad Dirty Den's death, Vicki decided to air all of their dirty laundry in public, launching an attack as Zack, Anthony and Kathy took their sides. As Zack comforted Vicki, Kathy took action by throwing Zoe out. Rampaging Vicki followed Zoe over to The Albert, where a thoughtful Zoe had been looking at a selfie of her and Max together. The pair continued to argue as Vicki dredged up Zoe's past. Completing her tour of Walford, Zoe returned to The Vic. Her relatively (and surprisingly) high spirits didn't last long. Thanks to Freddie and Mo, her shooting ordeal had made the front page of the local newspaper, along with her full name and address. Fearing that her presence might be putting her family in danger, a panicked Zoe rushed outside. Desperate, she made a phone call, begging for help from Max Branning. "Come get me," she ordered. Howie surprised Kim As she watched Nigel proudly cleaning his car, Kim mooted the possibility of driving again. Hint taken, Howie found Lauren on her first day back at work on the car lot, where he tried to hash out a surprise for Kim. Presenting Kim with her gift of a new (ish) Fiat, Howie explained away his sudden cash boost with a "cheeky bonus," reassuring his family that there'd be more treats on the way. What does Howie have planned? Also on EastEnders tonight Following a good word from Ravi, Alfie offered Zack the job of chef at The Vic. Won over by Alfie's promises of low pay, Zack gladly agreed. As Julie celebrated getting the job at Walford High, she earned the ire of Joel - who had been loitering nearby, scoffing at Howie's financial situation. Joel, in turn, was in a huff over not being able to see influencer idol Drake Zagan live. Meanwhile, following their hook-up last week, Callum and Johnny were feeling serious about their relationship. What do the pair have planned?
