As the shocked Beales scrabbled for answers, Oscar demanded to know if she’s with the Ford clan. Jasmine was typically secretive – first claiming self-defence, then storming off when backed into a corner by Oscar. And, as the episode ended, we’re no closer to answers. Is Jasmine with the Ford family or not? Here’s everything that happened in EastEnders tonight. Ian explained Cindy’s past with the Fords to Oscar (Credit: BBC) Oscar raised the alarm following Cindy attack Oscar was shocked as he stumbled across Cindy’s unconscious body near the Prince Albert. Meanwhile, as Lauren and the Beales sat down for dinner, Ian shared Cindy’s suspicions over Jasmine being a member of the notorious Ford crime family. As they headed to the hospital, Oscar intercepted Jasmine, and questioned whether she’d been behind the attack. Caught out with blood on her shoe, she admitted she’d given Cindy a shove. Believing her claims of self-defence, Oscar offered to talk to Lauren in the hope that he could convince the family not to call the police. He arrived at the hospital, where Ian and Lauren shared their suspicion that Jasmine’s working for (or is one of) the Fords. She insisted that she’d been telling the truth, and cruelly dismissed Nigel’s revenge theory as a symptom of his dementia. At a stalemate, she walked out on him. Lauren returned home to find a heartbroken Oscar alone, his fledgling relationship in tatters. Cindy lay unconscious in hospital as Jasmine arrived, sneaking into her private room. She regained consciousness just long enough to see Jasmine sneak out again, none the wiser as to what Jasmine’s up to. What does Jasmine want from Cindy? And some wondered whether the Ford link could be a red herring. “Do you guys think Jasmine is really apart of the Ford family? I don’t know if I do, it feels like the storyline has ended too quick for that to be the case,” wrote one fan on social media. “I think whatever mystery there is behind Jasmine is something else. It can’t be that obvious,” agreed another. A third echoed: “Wondering if the Fords are a red herring though; it all seems a bit too tidy and convenient for everyone to have suddenly latched onto the theory.” But if not the Ford family, then who? Another fan commented: “I agree that the Fords motive seems like a red herring. I think her dad’s side of the family is going to end up linked to Anthony’s shadowy phone call we saw.” “I thought this initially – that Anita may be Jasmine’s adopted mother or Jasmine was fostered. Meanwhile, as Jean continued to simmer over Kat's accusations, Zoe learned the truth about the earring. But was Jean really responsible? Ross and Vicki shared a moment At Harry's Barn, Ross continued in his attempt to get through to Vicki. As they took a seat together, Ross re-iterated how awful he felt about the whole Joel situation; blaming himself and his poor parenting for everything that had happened. "You should have dealt with Joel the minute you knew," Vicki said. "Instead of paying that girl's parents off." With Ross graciously not reminding her of that time she paid Joel's tube assault victim off, Vicki began to warm to his sense of penitence. Back home, Vicki received a visit from Chelsea, who wanted to check up on her new bestie. As they shared a glass of wine, Chelsea tried to reassure her that not all men are like Joel, or even her dad, Dirty Den. Arriving at the house with a four pack for Vicki, Ross bumped into Chelsea on her way out. She told him that it was too soon to think about reconciling, and that Vicki needed her space. Given his marching orders, Ross slunk off, back into the night, from whence he'd came. Zoe learned the truth about the earring In the wake of Kat's conversation with Jean, she and Alfie tried to figure out how they'd break the news about the earring to Zoe. Across the street, a self-pitying Jean continued to rant and rave about Zoe. At The Vic, Zoe shared a drink with Anthony, who suggested - in his medical opinion - that she'd developed a co-dependency on Kat and the rest of her family. It all kicked off when Jean arrived, hoping to clear her name. Wading in, she accused Zoe of accusing her of the attack, leaving Zoe baffled. Upstairs, she railed on Kat and Alfie for hiding the truth about the earring from her. She was convinced that Jean is responsible for all her recent torment - although Kat and Alfie weren't so sure. Nigel and Kojo joined forces At Phil's place, Nigel had enlisted Kojo's help in making the film - as assistant director, no less. Freddie and Anna planned for the future Returning from the hospital, Anna bumped into Freddie. She revealed that she was planning on going travelling, far away from Walford. Not wanting to lose her so soon after their reconciliation, he offered to go with her - an offer she gladly accepted. But how will their families take news of their plans?
