As the soap revealed the identity of Anthony's killer, Ravi struggled to assuage his guilt by sharing a moment with the dead man's father Patrick. He was determined to step up for Nugget, but soon became distracted after a visit from Jack. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Nugget was full of self-pity, assuming his dad saw him as a weakling. Meanwhile, Max made a mess of Abi's memorial, while Penny and Vinny explored their romantic connection. Here's everything else that happened in EastEnders tonight. Ravi and Nugget felt the pressure As Nugget recovered in hospital, Ravi continued to struggle with his guilt. At The Vic, he shared a moment with Patrick, who was also feeling emotional ahead of his visit to the Chapel of Rest. Full of thoughts of his own son, Patrick entreated Ravi to stand by his son and be there for Nugget while he could. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Nugget began to feel rejected by his dad, wondering if Ravi'd been disappointed by him being beaten up so easily and thoroughly. And where was Ravi? With Jack, who demanded that he start pulling his weight as an informant. This distracted him from his mission of bringing pizzas to the hospital for Priya and Nugget and, before he could head in to see his family, he rushed off to meet with his drug dealing contact. Max ruined everything It was the day of Abi's memorial, and tensions were at a high between Oscar's thing with Jasmine and Max... being Max. Trust Max to ruin everything by accidentally wrecking the memorial cake (it's a thing), even if Cindy was equally (if not more) to blame. As Lauren attempted to repair the cake, she snapped at her dad - banning him from attending the memorial. Dejected, he handed her the speech he'd written for the occasion, before storming off. But, as she and Oscar read the speech in The Vic, they began to have second thoughts. Realising how deeply he'd been affected by Abi's death, they tracked him down and re-invited him to the ceremony. All was forgiven as the family shared warm memories and smushed cake that evening... even if Jack did work out that Max had generated most of his touching speech with AI, rather than writing it himself. Oh, Max. Love is in the fair for Vinny and Penny Vinny arranged a lunchtime date at Container Junction with Jasmine. Read more: Who’s leaving, joining and returning to EastEnders?
