Things went from bad to worse for Harry, who remained Okie’s captive in spite of Ravi’s order that he be released. Deciding to further torment Harry instead, Okie told him that he’d be staying locked up for a while longer – while he goes on a date with Gina. Here’s everything that happened in EastEnders tonight. Ravi left Okie in charge (Credit: BBC) Okie’s in charge in EastEnders tonight As the episode began, Okie had taken another beating from a rival gang. After being dumped on the street for all to see, he demanded that Ravi sort the problem. However, Ravi was more distracted by the arrival of social services, who informed the family of a certain video found on Joel’s computer. After a chat with Avani, Ravi suggested getting away from it all instead, via a family holiday to Ibiza. “There’s no harm in waiting a few weeks before we face our problems,” he told his daughter. Article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Apparently in chilled-out holiday mode already, he told Okie to release Harry and bring Kojo back home. Okie, however, had other ideas. Returning to the flat, Okie informed Harry that he was in charge now – and planned on romancing Gina while Harry was all locked up. But will Gina be so easily fooled? As today’s episode aired, fans shared their theories as to where the story might be headed. And some wondered whether Gina might know more than she’s letting on. “In regards to Gina – I think she’s playing him – getting close to Okie because she thinks he’s done something to Harry. She was suspicious about his phonecall and he was meant be in Cardiff. Also it felt like she was questioning him at points too,” wrote one fan on X. “I hope she’s playing him, but we thought she was playing Dean initially too,” said another, on Reddit. “I’m still holding onto the hope that Gina’s playing Okie, because surely she can see how dodgy he is!?” a third asked. A fourth agreed: “I think she is. As news of Joel's heinous video collection spread, Avani and the Panesars weren't the only ones effected - and Vicki was horrified to learn what Joel had found on his son's computer. Realising that he wouldn't be able to completely cut his son out of his life, Vicki had Ross and Sharon kick him out of the house. Meanwhile, Julie shared a heart-to-heart with Nigel, while Johnny faced the music following Lexi's poison pen e-mail. Here's everything else that happened on EastEnders tonight. Ross is out on his ear Meanwhile, Vicki had figured out that Ross had been to see Joel (albeit from another room) - and she wasn't happy. He shared how he'd handed Joel's video collection into the police. However, she was furious to find that Ross knew about Joel's videos, and even angrier when he suggested that they reach out to Joel after his court appearance. Wrong place, wrong time, Ross. He returned home to find his bags packed, and with Zack and Kathy giving him his marching orders. Out on the street, Ross watched as Zack and Sharon helped Vicki out of her taxi, back indoors. But what does the future hold for Ross? Julie confided in Jean It was Julie's first day tutoring Lily, although Nigel wasn't making things easy, by getting under her feet. He managed to put his foot in it with Lily too, inadvertantly describing Lily as a 'hussy.' Learning what Nigel had said, Jean went over to confront Julie. Hustling Nigel off to the cafe, Julie faced Jean's wrath. Jean was concerned that Julie was spreading herself too thin. After growing tearful, Julie admitted her fear that Nigel was fading away, and becoming a different person. And, as the pair shared a heart-to-heart, Jean recalled her own lost love, tragic Daniel Cook. Meanwhile, Oscar found Nigel in the café, researching flights to India. Hearing how Nigel was unable to afford the flights, Oscar suggested that he sell his beloved car. Johnny planned for the future Johnny faced a disciplinary after Lexi's text message yesterday. Unwinding with drinks afterwards, he explained to Callum, Gina and Elaine that he'd managed to keep his job, even if the disciplinary had been a humiliating experience. Under Elaine's advice, he mooted a brand new business venture, away from his angry bosses. Also on EastEnders tonight In The Albert, Elaine explained her plan to convert the house into a boutique hotel. Oscar was thrilled to score a date with Jasmine, although her insistence that he score them free drinks by flirting with another customer at The Albert had him feeling uncomfortable.
