Having been let down by George, Kojo was at a loose end, and took the pill after returning home to find his flat overrun by drug dealers. George’s excuse for being a no-show? He was hooking up with Nicola again, instead of following through on Kojo’s birthday plans. Meanwhile, as tensions flared up between Phil and Julie, he shared details of Nigel’s suicide bid. Elsewhere, Priya fretted over her relationship with Ravi. Here’s everything that happened on EastEnders tonight. Kojo celebrated his birthday (Credit: BBC) Happy birthday Kojo! It was Kojo‘s birthday, and Ravi was annoyed to find that Harry and brought him along to a team meeting at the cafe. Spotting Ravi with Harry, Priya immediately grew suspicious, forcing Ravi to come up with an excuse. Maybe don’t hold your drug deal meetings in the cafe, then, Ravi. He was excited about his birthday trip with George, who planned to take him out to Hatfield for a day visiting all the top car dealerships. Growing suspicious of Kojo’s flash watch and the VR headset, George questioned Teddy’s over his son’s finances. However, talk soon turned to an emotional Nicola… George couldn’t stay away for long (Credit: BBC) George gave into temptation with Nicola It was the anniversary of Nicola’s father’s death, and Barney was worried about his mum. She assured him that she was doing fine, but it was clear that she was in an even more turbulent mood than usual. After lashing out at Honey, she swung by The Vic, where Kojo’s birthday celebration was in full swing. Teddy warned George that he might want to steer clear, today of all days. Witnessing a tender moment between him and Kojo, upset Nicola stormed out of The Vic. Sensing that something was amiss, George followed her back to Harry’s Barn, where he joined her for a drink. As she opened up about her painful relationship with her abusive father, the pair swapped notes on their daddy issues. Emotions riding high, passions bubbled over and they fell into a heated embrace. He was shocked to find that Okie and his pals had taken over the place. He was about to call George when Okie intercepted, offering him a pill for his nerves. Assured that it would help mellow him out, Kojo obliged. George found Kojo in the Square garden, passed out on a park bench. Assuming his brother had been attacked, George sent Nicola off to get Jack. Leaning over Kojo, George found the empty baggie in his hand… and soon worked out that he’d taken drugs. Phil dropped a Nigel-shaped bombshell (Credit: BBC) Julie learned the truth about Nigel on EastEnders tonight It had been a sleepless night on the Square, thanks to Julie’s chickens. After raging at David Peckham, Phil explained that it was Nigel’s dementia assessment that day. Sensing the chilly atmosphere, Nigel sensed that Phil wasn’t a fan of Julie. Tensions boiled over at Nigel’s assessment, where Julie grew emotional at Nigel’s clear decline. Back home, tensions finally boiled over. Nigel was concerned about Phil’s obvious dislike of Julie. Backed into a corner, Phil admitted that he couldn’t stand Nigel’s wife. No, more than that, he didn’t think she was a good fit at all. Julie returned home just in time to hear Phil complain that she wasn’t taking Nigel’s disease seriously enough. And, as they broke into another row, Phil dropped the bombshell that Nigel had planned on taking his own life when he first arrived in Walford. Priya begged Ravi not to break her heart (Credit: BBC) Priya opened up to Ravi on EastEnders tonight Priya admitted to Eve that she’d gotten back together with Ravi. She shared her concern that Ravi hadn’t given up on all the shady stuff after all. “I haven’t always been Ravi’s biggest fan,” said Eve, who was once almost literally murdered by Ravi, by launching into his defence. Back home, she begged him not to betray her trust. Ravi and Priya played happy families as the kids returned home… but how long before Ravi’s house of cards comes tumbling down?
