Convinced to return by Tommy, Zoe’s return left Kat speechless and viewers on tenterhooks. How will the reunion of Kat and Zoe go? Elsewhere, Patrick and Yolande managed to overcome his recent trauma to tie the knot, while Oscar had a surprise in store for Jack. Here’s everything that happened on EastEnders tonight. Kat was terrified for missing Tommy (Credit: BBC) Kat feared for missing Tommy in EastEnders tonight As morning broke on Albert Square, Tommy was still missing, and Kat was worried sick. She was relieved to see that Tommy had read her messages, even if he wasn’t responding, and managed to stop Alfie from calling the police just yet. Article continues below Read all the latest spoilers However, in a spot of spectacularly bad timing, Tommy’s case worker arrived to check up on the family. She’d been tipped off by Bert and Ernie’s school that Tommy had gone missing, and wanted to speak to him… by tonight. The social worker wasn’t the only one setting a deadline either. Worried that they needed to get ahead of the social, Alfie again stressed that they needed to call the police before it was too late. Zoe arrived in Walford (Credit: BBC) Zoe returned in EastEnders tonight As it turned out, Tommy had spent the night at Zoe‘s. As he received another call from Kat, she panicked that he’d told her she was back on the scene. She revealed that she was planning on going back to Spain, if she could find the money. Tommy wanted to go with her, and offered to lend her his savings if she’d let him come too. With their family in a tizz back home, Tommy and Zoe took a tube journey to the bank, so he could make the transfer. Realising that she needed cold, hard cash, he suggested an alternative plan… and one which would take her all the way back to Walford. With Patrick and Yolande’s wedding party inside The Vic, and a storm raging on outside, Kat received a text from Tommy telling her to meet him out on The Square. She rushed out in to the rain, where she was reunited with her son. And he’d brought her a present. Zoe Slater is finally back on Albert Square! Congratulations Patrick and Yolande (Credit: BBC) Patrick and Yolande tied the knot On what should have been her wedding day, a downcast Yolande recalled the last time she and Patrick were married. After a pep talk from Denzel, she was determined to get things back on track, and set about convincing the man himself. Meanwhile, Anthony tried to talk his dad into changing his mind, but he was having none of it. Still, Yolande had put the word out, and she tasked Denise and Kim with getting everything ready. As Jack sorted out The Vic for a reception, Stacey promised to look after the pub while Kat and Alfie continued their search. Yolande’s own attempt to convince Patrick didn’t exactly go any better. As they chatted, he wallowed in his fear, revealing how he felt she deserved better than a scared old man. Reassuring him that she wanted to be there for him in his time of need, and healing, she informed him that she’d be ready and waiting. At the venue, Oscar was hard at work making amends, by getting everything ready for the happy couple. Everything was ready for the ceremony, although Denise and Kim fretted that the couple might be a no-show. As it turned out, there was no need to worry. Patrick and Yolande arrived in the nick of time, dressed up to the nines. And, as the steel band played on, Patrick and Yolande sealed the deal, becoming man and wife again. As the rain fell, the families gathered in The Queen Vic to celebrate. Oscar showed Jack the gun he’d found (Credit: BBC) Jack was horrified at Oscar’s gun discovery Ravi wanted his gun back, and wasn’t happy at Harry for maintaining radio silence. Not wanting to admit that he’d lost the firearm, Harry refused to tell Ravi where it was, assuring him that it was in a safe space. Meanwhile, having found the gun, Oscar attempted to stash it in the house – not the brightest move, given how Peter and Lauren reacted to his keeping a knife in his room. Later, after the wedding ceremony, Jack returned home to summon Oscar to the after party. Instead, he found Oscar with the incriminating bag.
