This came as desperate Oscar settled on a devious way of settling his debt to Fat Mike – by robbing Patrick of his gambling money. Breaking into the Fox/Trueman household, Oscar got his hands on Mike’s money, only to be caught by Patrick. Panicking, Oscar pushed Patrick away, causing the old man to fall to the floor with a gnarly head wound. Will Patrick be okay? Elsewhere, Suki and Avani convinced Eve to give their (still very much insane) baby plan a chance, while Ross tried to keep Joel and Tommy on the straight and narrow. Here’s everything that happened on EastEnders tonight. Mike upped his price (Credit: BBC) Oscar struggled to pay off Mike in EastEnders tonight Fat Mike started the day with another menacing visit, upping his price to £5k. Desperate for more cash, Oscar tried to hit up Ian for another shift at the chippy. After failing to raise the cash from both Ian and the fruit and veg stall, he was forced to come clean to Lauren about his debt to Mike. Five grand was a big ask though, so she set about trying to shift some cars to help convince her boss. Oscar, meanwhile, tried to call grandma Cora for the funds, but had no luck there either. Back at the chippy, he’d come up with another money-spinning idea. He pitched the idea of a Beale’s Plaice food truck, which Ian wasn’t entirely dismissive of. Ian immediately saw through Oscar’s request for £5000 though, leaving him as skint and desperate as he’d ever been. Yolande was unimpressed to hear what Patrick’s been up to (Credit: BBC) Howie and Patrick won big Howie was feeling the pressure, with Denzel still nagging for the festival money. Meanwhile, Patrick was having second thoughts about gambling again, but Howie needed the cash, and succeeded in convincing him to hold his nerve. After placing the bet, Howie watched with Patrick as the horse race unfolded on TV. Dodger’s Dream took it by a nose, scoring the pair £6000 – enough to fulfil Yolande’s wedding dreams and buy Denzel his expensive festival tickets. As Kim arrived home, Howie shared the good news about his windfall, lying about having taken some extra shifts at the Post Office. He confronted her over what she’d said about Vincent last week, and an argument broke out. Oscar set his sights on Patrick’s winnings (Credit: BBC) Oscar broke in and attacked Patrick Lurking outside the bookies, Oscar watched with great interest as he saw Patrick leave with his winnings. He wasn’t the only one who’d spotted Patrick with the cash though – and a furious Yolande caught him outside, informing him that the wedding was off. Meanwhile, Lauren was successful in having made a big sale at the car lot, securing an advance from Jay. And with Yolande and Howie both stewing at their partners, the family headed out for a tense drink together. Unaware that Lauren had raised the cash he needed, a masked Oscar took matters into his own hands. Breaking into the Truemans’ home, he’d just pinched the cash when Patrick arrived home, attempting to stop Oscar as he fled. In the ensuing scuffle, Oscar gave Patrick a shove, knocking him unconscious and leaving him bleeding on the floor. Suki talked Eve around (Credit: BBC) Eve was convinced in EastEnders tonight Eve was concerned to learn that Avani had a hospital appointment. It was time for her 12-week scan, and Eve wanted to know how they planned on hiding the growing pregnancy bump from Ravi and Priya. Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of Vinny, who was back from his trip to Canada. As Eve and Priya headed to McKlunky’s, Suki caught up with Vinny over the Ash situation. Eve took this alone-time to prod Avani over how she really felt about the pregnancy. The teenager was still singing from Suki’s playbook though, and all in on her insane pregnancy plan. Later, Eve met up with Suki at the hospital. She reiterated her concern that Avani wasn’t ready for a child, but her pleas fell on deaf ears. Having learned from Vinny that Ash doesn’t want her at the wedding, Suki was more determined than ever to set things right by raising Avani’s baby. Eve watched uncomfortably as the scan unfolded. Seeing how happy Suki and Avani both were seemed to have changed Eve’s mind and, back home, she agreed to come aboard the baby train. On one condition though – Ravi and Priya need to be told. But is Suki as on board as she seems? Ross got a worrying call (Credit: BBC) Ross tried to distract Joel A loved-up Vicki and Ross watched Joel and Tommy as they shared a kickabout together. They were concerned to see Joel’s leery reaction to a pair of young women pass by, and Vicki suggested that he take the boys with to work him so as to keep them (but mostly Joel) occupied. Not the best idea, as it happened. At the builder’s yard, Ross was irritated to see Tommy and Joel involved as the other workers made a series of derogatory comments about women passing by. Still, he was impressed by the boys’ work ethic, and sang Joel’s praises to Vicki when he returned home. As they talked, his phone began to ring, with a call from Joel’s mother. What does she want? The Vic’s new bar staff leaves something to be desired (Credit: BBC) Jean can’t pull a pint in EastEnders tonight Kat left Jean behind the bar at The Vic, despite her apparent inability to pull a pint. At this rate, she’ll have burned through £10,000 in badly-poured pints alone. Read more: Who’s leaving, joining and returning to EastEnders? Complete list of cast exits, arrivals and returns.
