What happened in EastEnders tonight: Ravi finally rekindled things with Priya... and immediately betrayed her

Ravi couldn't keep his promise

Ravi finally rekindled his relationship with Priya in EastEnders tonight (Monday, August 18), only to immediately go back on his promise to keep his activities nice and legal, for the family’s sake.  Ravi made the promise after falling back into bed with his ex, and the pair agreed to give their relationship another go.

However, it wasn’t long before he was demanding Okie and Harry peddle some more gear, utilising Kojo’s flat for the operation.

Elsewhere, Julie’s return to Walford soon set the cat among the chickens, and Vicki warned Joel to behave. Meanwhile, Patrick and Yolande prepared for the wedding, and Nicola was in a bad mood.

Here’s everything that happened on EastEnders tonight.

Ravi went behind Priya’s back as Okie manipulated Kojo

Determined to cheer up his family after last week’s events, Ravi arranged to take Priya and the kids shopping. However, his plans fell apart when he received word that the police had raided one of his safe houses.

Realising that the ‘feds’ were onto them, Ravi and Okie planned to move the operation to Kojo’s flat. Okie shared the news with Harry, who was appalled to hear of Okie’s plans, and promised to have it out with Ravi… after a quick snort of his own product for Dutch courage.

Wrong move! Ravi was in no mood to listen to reason, and smashed Harry’s hand under a car bonnet to drive home the message exactly who was in charge. Ouch.

Back home, Ravi was on the receiving end of a chewing out of his own from Priya, for letting Avani down. As he explained the situation with the police, the conversation took an unexpected turn, and the pair ended up sharing a kiss.

After taking things to the bedroom, Priya admitted that she wanted them both back together – but only if he packed in all the shady stuff. Ravi promised to find a legal way to get back on his feet, but his fresh start didn’t last long. Before the evening was out, he’d issued orders to Okie to shift as much product as possible over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Meanwhile, at Kojo’s flat, Okie had admitted to Kojo the nature of his work. Kojo was disgusted to realise that the business involved selling drugs. Still, somehow Okie managed to talk him around, reminding him of everything he’d done and given him last week.

Can Harry keep Kojo safe from Okie and Ravi’s plans?

Julie’s return put Phil’s nose out of joint

Julie arrived back in Walford, where she was reunited with Phil and Nigel. She introduced Phil to her chickens – Posh, Sporty and rooster David Peckham. Nigel was thrilled to have Julie back, but grumpy Phil was clearly already having his doubts.

Julie continued to irritate Phil with the news that she planned on sharing Nigel’s room, rather than taking the spare. Things Phil also doesn’t approve of? Her giving Nigel a notebook to help keep track of things, a dinner of steamed salmon, and their cup of evening cocoa.

Annoyed at her for disrupting Nigel’s routine, it wasn’t long before Phil and Julie were at each other’s throats again. Can they ever make it work?

Vicki confronts Joel in the street

Vicki issued Joel a warning

Following their confrontation last week, Vicki watched as Joel swanned about the market, winding up Stacey with talk of her baps. She tried to share her concern with Ross, but he insisted that the boy was on the straight and narrow from now on, and urged her to give the lad a chance.

Vicki tried to make small talk with Joel later, but soon ended up snapping at him over his treatment of Stacey, raising his hand to Avani, and threatening her last week. Sending home the message that she wouldn’t be intimidated, she warned him that if he tried anything at all, she’d be shopping him to the police herself.

Patrick and Yolande looked to the future in EastEnders tonight

Patrick was still feeling shaky at the prospect of going outdoors. Focusing instead on the wedding, they invited the family around for lunch, where they enlisted Howie as Patrick’s Best Man and Denise as Maid of Honour – leaving Kim feeling dejected.

No need for sulking from the Kimfluencer, though, as Yolande had chosen her as Celebrant.

But can Patrick overcome his trauma before the big day?

Nicola was in a mood in EastEnders tonight

Nicola was on spikier form than usual, making jibes about Julie’s chickens and swapping barbs with Cindy. At McKlunky’s, Barney expressed his concern for her, during this difficult week.

But what’s got Nicola so upset?
