Freshly determined to bring down Ravi, Jack broke into his flat – only for foghorn Denise to drop him in it later. Learning what Jack had tried to do, Ravi let his rival know that the war is very much on. Is Jack prepared for what he’s just unleashed? Elsewhere, Phil and Nigel’s search for treasure came up trumps, and Callum came face-to-face with his awful father again. But what does Jonno Highway want this time? Here’s everything that happened in EastEnders tonight. Jack tried to fit Ravi up with a spot of daylight reverse-robbery (Credit: BBC) Jack tried to frame Ravi in EastEnders tonight After letting Ravi down last night, Jack shared another tense conversation with the drug dealer. Sending Ravi off on a wild goose chase to distract the police, Jack told him that he planned on disposing of the firearm later that day. Article continues below Read all the latest spoilers This part wasn’t a lie, Jack did have a plan for the gun. Unfortunately for Ravi, he was going to stash it in the flat. Already stressed out by Jack, Ravi returned home to find Avani and Nugget at war, and Priya in a suspicious mood. When she asked him whether he’d had anything to do with the shooting he got indignant, and stormed out. Spotting Ravi and Priya leave together, Jack snuck in to plant the gun. He was almost caught out when Priya returned without warning, having forgotten her phone. Once she’d cleared back off, he planted the gun in a shoebox and snuck out again. Denise returned home as he was putting the next step of his plan into action, and soon worked out that Jack was hiding something. Lying about his own involvement, Jack told her that Ravi was under investigation, but had nothing to do with the shooting. Honest, guv. Ravi’s holding all the cards (Credit: BBC) Ravi turned the tables Jack’s lie to Denise that he’d been checking the boiler in Ravi’s flat soon backfired when she dropped him in it. Hearing how Jack had been lurking around his home with a dodgy excuse, Ravi figured out exactly what had happened. After retrieving the piece, Ravi confronted Jack over his lies and betrayal. Having backed Jack into a corner, Ravi informed him that the war was now fully on. Out in the market, Ravi called Okie, telling him that he’d found a way out of the drugs game. Spotting her ex-affair partner, Denise headed over to taunt him a little. Never mind the lapse in logic of verbally provoking a man you think might have shot someone, Denise got more than she bargained for when he revealed that Jack had been the one who pulled the trigger. How will Denise react to news of Jack’s lies? Phil and Nigel set off in search of buried treasure (Credit: BBC) Nigel and Phil’s quest continued Continuing their country getaway, Phil and Nigel set out in search of the time capsule he and Grant buried as children. Out in the woods, Phil was dubious that Nigel would be able to find the box. Oh ye of little faith – Nigel led Phil to the exact spot, even if it did involve breaking into a country estate. Opening up the tin, Phil and Nigel examined their prize – a box full of old collectible cards, now worthless. Talk turned to the real issue – Julie’s betrayal and his declining faculties -and Phil tried to convince his friend to re-forgive her for the affair. Will Nigel listen to the voice of reason? And yes, we did just refer to Phil Mitchell as the voice of reason. Callum wasn’t best pleased to see his dad again (Credit: BBC) Callum was reunited with his father At The Albert, Callum intercepted as Eve was attacked by two men. He was shocked to discover that the culprit was his dad, Jonno Highway. Confronting his dad in the street, Callum soon learned his dad hadn’t changed a bit. As Jonno continued to spit homophobic abuse, Callum slapped on the (metaphorical) handcuffs and arrested his father. Returning to The Albert, a downbeat Callum got a pep talk from Johnny, who reassured him that he had no reason to feel bad. Meanwhile, spotting an opportunity, Johnny decided to get involved. Can he mend relations between father and son? Zoe began to open up to her mum (Credit: BBC) A Slater family reunion At the hospital, Zoe was treated to the full Slater experience, meeting all-grown-up cousin Freddie. As Alfie and Stacey turned the ward into something out of a bawdy 70s sitcom, Denise and Anthony also arrived to check up on the patient. Once everyone else had left, Zoe finally began to open up to her mother. Opening up about the pregnancy, she revealed how the twins had died… omitting the fact that one had actually survived. She also wasn’t able to talk about the father’s identity either (“it weren’t meant to be”), leaving a question mark lingering. Relations began to thaw between Eve and Suki (Credit: BBC) Also on EastEnders tonight Spotting an opportunity after Eve’s attack, Elaine and Cindy decided to throw a party to shift some more drinks at The Albert. Also spotting a chance at redemption, Suki shared a charged moment with Eve as she arrived to check up on her wife. Is Eve ready to forgive Suki?
