But while Jasmine might be gone, Jake Moon returns to Walford next week and could hold the key to finding her. Patrick visited Zoe in prison this week in EastEnders (Credit: BBC) Patrick let the cat out of the bag After Patrick’s visit to see her in prison this week, Zoe was left wondering what he meant when he dropped a cryptic clue about Jasmine. He was under strict instructions from Kat not to tell Zoe that Jasmine had done a runner. However, while he didn’t exactly spell out that Jasmine had gone, he didn’t fill Zoe with confidence when she asked how her daughter was. However, it was today’s episode (Thursday, February 5) which saw Kat finally tell Zoe the truth when she called from prison. Article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Zoe called Kat from prison(Credit: BBC) EastEnders: Jake Moon sent Zoe a visiting request When Zoe called to talk about Patrick’s visit, she dropped the bombshell that she had also had a visiting request from Jake Moon. At first, Kat was confused, pointing out that Jake was presumed to be dead. Wondering if it was someone playing tricks on her, Zoe told Kat she was going to decline the visiting request. The fact that Jake had links to Chrisse was a red flag to Zoe, and she was convinced this could be her nemesis playing sick games. However, Kat admitted Jasmine was missing. She suspected that Jake or Chrisse, if they wanted to visit, might know more about where Jasmine was. Zoe was stunned, confused that Jasmine might go back to Chrissie after claiming that she was scared of her. But Kat was adamant that she had to see Jake, determined to get to the bottom of all this. Jake arrives next week (Credit: BBC) The drama continues next week Next week sees Jake return to Walford, but before he reaches Albert Square, he goes to see Zoe in prison. He wants answers about what happened at Christmas, and reveals that Chrissie’s revenge plan to ruin her has caused them to split up. Zoe’s revelation stuns Jake, and he ends things with Chrissie for good. However, when Zoe asks him to help her prove she is innocent, he refuses. Later, Vicki and Kat join forces to find Jake, determined that he is the one who can free Zoe. Kat finds Jake and convinces him to go and see Alfie. The cousins have an emotional reunion, and Jake agrees to stay. However, there is trouble on the cards when Jake comes face-to-face with Phil. Phil advises Jake to do the right thing by Kat and Alfie, so he comes up with a plan to lure Chrissie back to Walford. What else happened in EastEnders tonight? As well as Jake Moon planning a visit to see Zoe in jail, we also discovered Nigel's fate after he fell asleep in the bath. Elsewhere, Nugget demanded answers about the night he was attacked. Nigel's fate was revealed After Nigel fell asleep in the bath, Phil found him at the last moment and dragged him out from under the water. After saving his life, Phil got Nigel to the hospital. There, doctors told him and Julie that Nigel's drowning had almost been fatal. Horrified by the whole ordeal, Phil admitted to Julie that he had taken his eye off Nigel. He also told her the care home had called. Together, they decided to accept Nigel's place. Nugget confronted Nicola and Harry After hearing Barney talking to Avani about Harry and Nicola potentially being involved in his attack, the teenager wanted answers. At Harry's Barn, he cornered the pair. Priya and Ravi were also there, praying that they wouldn't tell them what really happened. Everyone managed to convince Nugget that the Mitchells had nothing to do with whathappened, while Nicola also covered for Ravi. But surely this is a secret just waiting to be revealed?
