Zoe’s return has been an eventful one, to say the least – getting shot by Jack and Ravi only hours after arriving back on Albert Square. She’s hardly been laying low since then either, making enemies of both her family and Sharon’s over the past few weeks. After getting into a feud with Vicki Fowler, she then found herself driving Stacey Slater out of town – to the chagrin of Stace’s mum, Jean. Putting two and two together, some fans have wondered whether this could be setting up a future whodunnit. Is Zoe in danger? You’re going to get what’s coming to you.” In another screenshot, Jean echoed the sentiment. “One of these days… someone’s going to teach her a lesson,” Jean said. “Twice in a few weeks now it’s been hinted somethings gonna happen. But what? And who?” asked this fan. “Surely not a Halloween/Christmas Day whodunnit. I can just imagine these clips being played over a trailer ending in ‘it’s judgement day/times running out for Zoe,” commented another. A third remarked: “She’s crossed a lot of people, I think it’s someone from the past.” “Do we really need the Walford Whacker 2? That exact same story with Cindy was the focus of last Christmas?” another said. “I called this… when Zoe was the square punchbag and Vicky threatened her that it was leading to Zoe building an enemies list and she will be attacked in The Vic at Xmas,” a fifth agreed. In an eventful Halloween for Zoe, she’s spooked when someone smashes up a picture of her and Kat. Initially accusing Kat (who she’s feuding with again), Zoe then blames Vicki when her mum denies it. Matters worsen when Alfie discovers an old tape in the barrel store – a home video of the Slaters, from the 1980s. When she discovers it playing, she again accuses Kat. As Anthony worries for Zoe’s well-being, she continues to spiral, convinced that someone is out to get her. After accusing Anthony, she kicks him out of The Vic.
