EastEnders reveals the skeleton in Anthony’s closet today (Tuesday, December 2), as Howie makes a shocking discovery about his past. This comes as Anthony began digging for dirt on Howie, and was determined to expose him as having stolen Penny’s ring. Howie, in turn, does some snooping of his own, discovering exactly what Anthony’s been hiding from Patrick and the rest of the family. Anthony confronts Howie about the stolen ring (Credit: BBC) Howie learns Anthony’s secret in EastEnders today As the episode begins, Anthony confronts Howie. He reveals that he knows Howie stole the ring from Penny, and demands that he come clean to Kim – or he’ll do it for him. Howie tries to tell Kim the ring is a fake, and offers to return it in exchange for a new one. However, Kim is having none of it, and insists on keeping the ‘fake.’ Article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Following a conversation with Patrick, Howie takes matters into his own hands, and calls Anthony’s wife. He’s stunned to learn that she’s taking out a restraining order against Anthony – describing him as a ‘danger’ to women. Armed with this knowledge, Howie confronts Anthony in the café. Anthony rejects claims that he’s dangerous, but is forced to rescind his ultimatum against Howie. Zoe turns to Anthony in her time of need (Credit: BBC) Zoe falls back into Anthony’s arms Meanwhile, in The Vic, Zoe accuses Tommy of being behind her stalking. He denies being responsible, revealing how he was rehearsing for a role in Nigel’s film. Downstairs, Lily insists that Jean come clean to the family about the Christmas lights threat. As a bitter row breaks out between the Slaters, Kat reluctantly asks Zoe to leave The Vic. With everyone unaware that Jean left the menacing message, Zoe goes to see Anthony. He’s overjoyed when she asks him if she can stay, allowing himself a self-satisfied smile as she falls into his arms. With Zoe in his room, Anthony shares another encounter with Howie. The men agree to keep each other’s secrets, putting them at a stalemate for now. But is Anthony really a danger to women? And, specifically, Zoe?
