Zoe’s tormentor strikes again in EastEnders tonight (Monday, December 1), leaving a terrible message at the Albert Square Christmas lights switch-on ceremony. Gathered with her friends and family, Zoe is shocked to see this latest threat, and returns to the refuge of the Queen Vic. There, she stumbles across a shocking piece of evidence which suggests Tommy may have been responsible. As she confronts Tommy, the perpetrator finally comes clean. Tensions are exacerbated as Zoe and Jean continue to bicker, and Jean makes it clear that she still blames her for Stacey (and soon Freddie) leaving Walford. Later, the family gather in Albert Square for the Christmas lights switch-on. As Elaine delivers a heartfelt speech in Freddie and Anna’s honour, Howie gets down on one knee to propose to Kim. However, the mood is soon spoiled when the lights come on – revealing a horrifying message in the window of The Vic. As she grabs Tommy’s rucksack, she can’t help but see what’s inside – packaging for the lights. She accuses him of stalking her, just as Kat and Alfie walk in. Meanwhile, downstairs, Lily has grown suspicious of Jean. Noting how she was nowhere to be seen when the lights came on, she accuses her of stalking Zoe. “Fine!” Jean snaps. “It was me!
