The aftermath of Joel Marshall’s attack on stepmum Vicki Fowler is revealed in EastEnders tonight (Monday, October 13) as the residents of Walford learn what has happened. Joel attacked Vicki last week, after she confronted him over his actions at school that day. Done with listening to Vicki, Joel snapped, and unleashed a vicious attack. And, as paramedics rush Vicki to hospital, Ross launches a desperate search for answers. But is he prepared for what he finds? Joel attacked Vicki in last week’s EastEnders (Credit: BBC) Vicki rushed to hospital in EastEnders tonight As the episode begins, Vicki stumbles over to The Queen Vic, where she promptly collapses. Ross arrives on the scene just as she’s being loaded into the back of an ambulance – but seems more concerned with quashing rumours that Joel was responsible for the attack. Article continues below Read all the latest spoilers At the hospital, he’s questioned by the police, who query the bruises on his hands. He and the family are relieved to learn that Vicki will be fine, but the question remains as to who was responsible for the attack. When Zack and Sharon query whether Joel could have been responsible, Ross himself wonders if Joel could be capable of such a vicious attack. Leaving the hospital, he returns home to search Joel’s laptop. And it’s not long before he finds the evidence he’s looking for – Joel’s own video of the beating. Ross is unable to bury his head in the sand any longer (Credit: BBC) The police arrest Joel for Vicki attack Joel, meanwhile, is hiding out at the Slaters’ garage. Ross goes to see Tommy, demanding to know where Joel is. Already having second thoughts after a conversation with Zoe, Tommy reveals Joel’s whereabouts. At the Slaters’ garage, Joel is shocked when the police come storming in – and slap on the handcuffs. Ross, Tommy, and the rest of the Square watch as the police lead Joel away in handcuffs.
