Teddy Mitchell confessed to killing Okie in EastEnders last night (Tuesday, November 11), in the wake of a fatal struggle. Harry accidentally stabbed Okie last night, as the pair fought in Kojo’s flat. As Harry struggled with Okie, Kojo ran for help – finding Teddy outside and raising the alarm. Coming to Harry’s defence, Teddy opted to cover up his son’s involvement. After distracting Harry, he headed back to the flat, where he called the police and confessed to killing Okie. And, as last night’s episode ended, the police led him away in handcuffs, ready for questioning. But what will become of Teddy? He claims that he arrived at the flat where Okie was waiting alone, and wielding a knife. He tells the police that a fight then broke out, during which he accidentally killed Okie in self-defence. Meanwhile, back home, Nicola tells Barney that Teddy has been arrested, backing up his claims that he was responsible. When the rest of the family arrive, Billy enlists Phil’s help, who calls dodgy brief Ritchie on Teddy’s behalf. Ritchie to the rescue? As it happens… no. Teddy was arrested last night… and there’s worse in store tonight (Credit: BBC) The police charged Teddy with murder Teddy is relieved when Ritchie arrives at the station, but she doesn’t have good news in store. Far from it – and, as he calls Nicola afterwards, he reveals that the police have decided to charge him with Okie’s murder. As Nicola breaks down on the stairs, Teddy is left fearing for his future.
