EastEnders has revealed the future of two of its biggest couples as their fates hang in the balance. First up: Ben Mitchell and Callum Highway, whose marriage has been torpedoed by his affair with Johnny Carter. Kathy learned that the affair is still going on last night, and demanded that he come clean to Ben and Lexi. Callum agreed – only for Ben to come crashing back into their lives at dad Jonno’s funeral. Will Callum be able to live up to his promise? After explaining how he managed to score a day release from prison, he heads back to Walford for Jonno’s wake. As the family gather around, Callum breaks the news that he’s been seeing another. And it’s not long before Ben realises that Johnny is his husband’s other man. After a scuffle between Ben and Johnny, the two husbands sit down to discuss their future. Devastated as Callum admits the strength of his feeling for Johnny, Ben gets to his feet and announces their plans for divorce. Back in his cell, a heartbroken Ben breaks down. Eve’s been thinking about her future with Suki (Credit: BBC) Eve and Suki plan for the future Meanwhile, Eve takes Suki up on her offer of a drink in The Vic. As she begins to thaw to Suki, Eve admits that all Suki’s recent baby talk has gotten under her skin. Tentatively agreeing to give their marriage another go, she reveals that she wants them to adopt.
