The aftermath of Nugget’s terrifying seizure plays out in today’s EastEnders, leading to Ravi’s self-loathing taking a dangerous downward spiral. As Ravi goes into shock while Nugget has a seizure, Priya takes control and calls an ambulance. Linda sees what is happening and goes to offer her help, knowing what Priya is going through since Nancy has epilepsy. Priya follows the instructions she is being given on the phone, but Ravi goes into a trance, worrying about what is causing Nugget’s seizure. Linda suggests that instead of driving Nugget to the hospital, they get a taxi, and finally, Ravi snaps into action and goes to find one. She tries to reassure Ravi that this isn’t connected to his attack, but it is clear Ravi’s not listening to a thing she’s saying. The doctor reveals that Nugget has had an epileptic seizure due to his recent head trauma, but Ravi can’t stand the guilt and races off. Later, Nugget’s family gather around his hospital bed, but as usual, Ravi is nowhere to be seen. As the doctor tells Nugget that he is going to have to stay in the hospital for a few days after his recent injuries, he’s devastated. But the thing that hits him the hardest is when he’s told he’s not allowed to drive. Ravi drowns his sorrows (Credit: BBC) EastEnders: Ravi hits rock bottom as he resorts to self-harm While Priya is holding down the fort at the hospital, Ravi is in full self-destruct mode. He heads to Harry’s Barn to drown his sorrows, but he’s also looking for trouble. When a group of men start hitting on Chelsea, Ravi steps in and welcomes a fight. Mark gets involved, protecting Ravi when the men start making racist comments. However, when Mark later leaves, the men are waiting. And, with three against one, Mark doesn’t stand a chance. Thankfully, Ravi is passing at the right time and still looking for trouble. He takes the men on with Mark, and they scare them away. While thanking Ravi for his help, Mark notices the cuts on Ravi’s stomach. He asks what happened, and Ravi makes out that they were done by someone who didn’t like him, covering the fact that they are self-inflicted wounds. Mark buys Ravi’s story and confides that he is looking for a rat in their gang, oblivious to the fact that he’s looking right at him. While Mark walks off to call his boss and confirm Ravi isn’t the informant, Mark’s comments spook Ravi. He is reminded that his life is spiralling out of control, and it’s all too much. And this time they have got a crowbar. Hating himself more than ever, Ravi squares up to all three men. Despite knowing this is a fight he’s going to lose, he lets them do their worst. Later, Ravi arrives at the hospital to see Nugget covered in cuts and bruises. When Avani asks her dad what happened, he lies to his family that he caught the man who attacked Nugget. But while everyone else seems pleased Ravi has found justice for Nugget, Priya knows that the man Ravi is talking about is himself. Ravi tells Nugget he has caught the man who attacked him (Credit: BBC) Ravi makes a shocking confession Seeing the state he is in and smelling the alcohol on his breath, Priya demands answers. She tells him that if he doesn’t step up for his family, then she is leaving and taking the kids with her. Desperate, Ravi promises he is doing everything he can to protect them. He finally breaks down and confesses he is a police informant. Priya is stunned as he explains she can’t tell anyone, otherwise all their lives are in danger. What will she do now?
