EastEnders fans confused by enormous 'plot hole' as Okie's gang hold Harry captive

How has nobody noticed by now?

EastEnders fans have grown confused by the ongoing situation at Kojo’s flat, as Okie and the rest of the gang continue to hold Harry captive. Harry found himself in a tricky situation when dad Teddy’s hidden camera was discovered by Kojo.

Covering for his dad, Harry admitted that the camera was is. Ravi responded by having Harry chained up to the radiator, as he demanded to know what the camera was connected to.

Harry let Ravi and Okie take his laptop, although Ravi still refused to release him. He relented and ordered Okie to let Harry go, but Okie decided otherwise.

And, as Ravi headed off on holiday last week, Harry remained Okie’s captive. In Ravi’s absence, Okie’s been running the operation from Kojo’s flat – filling the apartment with his thugs and fellow drug dealers.

Menacing stuff – but fans aren’t buying it.

EastEnders fans point out massive ‘plot hole’ as Okie holds Harry hostage

As this week’s episodes aired, fans started to wonder how the situation in Kojo’s flat has gone unnoticed by his friends and neighbours.

“As Kojo and Harry is away you’d thought people would’ve noticed thugs going inside and out of their flat,” observed one fan on Reddit.

“I was also wondering why nobody in a square where everyone knows everyone else’s business hadn’t noticed random people going in and out of that flat. Especially when two of the residents are police officers who never seem to go anywhere other than the square,” said another.

“Also does nobody realise that lots of thugs keep walking into the apartment which is on the main road of the square,” a third said.

A fourth agreed: “It’s a basement flat in what is still a busy street. The people that live above Kojo and over the road will have noticed at least.”

How has no-one spotted an entire gang of drug dealers coming and going from Kojo’s flat all week?

Okie takes control as Kojo tries to escape

Kojo returned to Walford in EastEnders last night, finding the flat empty – save for Okie, and captive Harry. Okie tried to pacify Kojo with a pill, although Kojo secretly spat it out when the dealer wasn’t looking.

Kojo tries to save Harry in EastEnders next week, sneaking off to raise the alarm. Unfortunately, he’s caught by Okie, who forces him to stay.

And, when Ravi returns from holiday, Okie’s thrilled to hear that he’s taking a back seat. Ravi puts Okie in charge, leaving Harry and Okie in more danger than ever.

Will anyone realise what’s been going on?
