In last night’s episode (Monday, October 27), Sharon travelled to Birmingham to see Jada Lennox, scoring some DNA that might help her track down Zoe’s missing twin son. Jada, for the forgetful or the uninitiated, is the mother of her granddaughter, Alyssa. Born of a union between Jada and Sharon’s late son, Denny, Alyssa serves as a DNA link between Dennis and Zoe’s son. Or she would, if Zoe hadn’t been lying about the whole Dennis thing. Namely, Dennis already has a relative on Albert Square – his half-sister, Vicki. “Vicki is Dennis’ half sister. Surely her DNA would be a closer match than his grandchild,” pointed out one fan on X. A third agreed: “Sharon should’ve got a DNA test off Vicki the moment Zoe dropped the bombshell about Dennis. That would’ve then proved a lot earlier that Dennis isn’t the father of Zoe’s son and confirms that Zoe lied to her.” “Why is [sic] Sharon gone and got DNA from her granddaughter who I no [sic] is Denny Junior’s daughter and him being Dennis’s son wouldn’t it have been easier to get DNA from Vicky [sic] seen [sic] as she is Dennis sister?” asked a fourth.
