The soap aired these shocking scenes last week, in which the brainrot-infected teenager launched a brutal assault upon his stepmother. And, as the story continued last night (Monday, October 13), a brutalised Vicki stumbled over to The Vic, where she promptly collapsed. The residents of Walford were shocked to see Vicki in such a state and, as the ambulance arrived, quickly leapt to the conclusion that Joel had been responsible. Willfully oblivious dad Ross attempted to bury his sand once more, but even he couldn’t ignore the video evidence he found on Joel’s laptop. Disgusted, he shopped his own son to the police. Some viewers, however, were more distracted by what they saw as a huge plot hole. And many wondered how Vicki – with a collapsed lung and broken arm – had managed to get herself from her home all the ay over to the pub.
