EastEnders fans point out 'ridiculous' flaw in Harry rescue

Harry was held captive so long he slipped into his own time zone

Harry Mitchell’s captivity came to an end in EastEnders last night (Tuesday, November 4), as Teddy and Kojo came to his rescue in shocking scenes on the soap. Okie’s had Harry chained up as Okie’s for the past few weeks, while the nefarious drug dealer menaced his best mate and dated his girlfriend.

However, Kojo took advantage of an opportunity in last night’s episode, sneaking out of the flat to get help from George, Junior and Teddy.

Dramatic stuff – but it didn’t make sense for everyone watching at home!

Kojo rescued Harry last night

As George called the police, Teddy rushed to his son’s side – finding him just as Okie and his gang attempted to drag him into the back of a van.

Thankfully, the police arrived in the nick of time, saving Harry from his fate.

As Kojo ran to alert George and Teddy, Okie had returned to the flat. He was shocked to find Harry free from his chains, and Kojo gone. He took quick action – calling for backup, and attempting to bundle Harry into a waiting van.

A sequence of events which left fans truly baffled…

EastEnders fans point out huge ‘plot hole’ in Harry Mitchell’s rescue

As last night’s episode aired, fans shared their shock at what had just transpired. And many were baffled by the passage of time between Kojo telling George and Okie getting Harry out of the flat.

“So Okie got a van, loaded harry in it and drove away in the time it took them to run across the square??? Really?” asked one fan.

“What I don’t get is okie had time to order a van, bundle Harry into it. In the time it took Teddy to walk across the road. Ridiculous,” said another.

A third commented: “The flat Harry was in is about 10 seconds away. In that time, the bad geezer has come back, made a call, waited for a van and got him out of the flat. And the police have been called and arrived.”

Said a fourth: “So let me get this straight. Kojo told them before okie made the phone call to his heavies and they still didn’t get there in time (walking across the square).”

Make it make sense!
