EastEnders fans spot glaring 'plot hole' in Zoe's recovery

Zoe's made a miraculous recovery

Fans of EastEnders have spotted what they deem to be a glaring ‘plot hole’ as Zoe Slater recovers from her recent shooting. Zoe returned to Walford from the hospital this week, after being shot by Jack and Ravi in a week of explosive events.

All things considered, Zoe’s coped well with being shot, between being discharged after only a week, and traipsing all over Walford following her release.

And, in last night’s episode (airing Wednesday, September 17), Zoe joined forces with cousin Stacey to track down Greg Dolan. Together, they discovered that Dolan was still alive – and very much holding a grudge.

As the episode ended, Zoe and Stacey rushed into The Vic to find Dolan holding Kat hostage. Dramatic stuff, but many were distracted by Zoe’s miraculous recovery.

EastEnders fans call out ‘plot hole’ in Zoe scenes

As last night’s scenes aired, fans were shocked to see Zoe up and about, sans crutches. And for some, her dash to The Vic was too much to take.

“Well, Zoe, went fast getting up from the sofa, and NO crutches walking in the Vic,” wrote one fan on X.

“Zoe has needdd crutches all week but ran straight after Stacey lmaooooo,” laughed another.

A third wrote: “Hmm, now Zoe is marching into the Vic with no crutches. Miracle eh? Slipped up there.”

“Oh look! Zoe suddenly doesn’t need crutches,” another viewer exclaimed.

War with Sharon and Vicki as Zoe’s return continues

Zoe’s back to fighting strength by next week, as her feud with Vicki takes a violent turn. As the soap continues, Vicki’s still harbouring a grudge with Zoe for what happened with her dad, Dirty Den.

Meanwhile, Sharon also returns to Walford, and is shocked to see Zoe back in town. After clashing with Sharon over her debt, Vicki storms out and takes out her frustration on Zoe.

And, as their altercation turns physical, it’s not long before they’re brawling in the street. And, as Anthony and Zack intervene, Zack is accidentally caught in the crossfire.

Returning home, Sharon is shocked to find Vicki and Zack nursing their wounds. She storms over to see Zoe at The Vic, where another shocking bombshell is dropped.
