A menacing message had been sprayed on the barrel store door, which is where Alfie found the item of jewellery. He revealed his findings to Zoe, who was convinced that Vicki had been responsible. However, it soon became clear that Vicki’s innocent – which was when the ‘real’ culprit emerged. Claiming the earring as her own, Jean appeared to incriminate herself. But was she really responsible? And many were disappointed that her stalker seemed to be exactly who we all thought it was. “It was so obvious it was Jean for the longest time yet Eastenders dragged this out to torture us?” wrote one fan on X.
