Viewers were treated to a glimpse into the future at the start of the year as Max got ready to marry someone in Walford in 2027. There was also a masked gunman and a pregnant lover. Leaving us with more questions than answers by the end of the episode. However, one of the biggest twists saw police arrest Max for ordering someone’s murder. While the show kept the identity of Max’s intended victim tightly under wraps, fans think they’ve already cracked the case. Permanently The Branning family has been in meltdown ever since Oscar announced he was leaving Albert Square with Jasmine. Knowing she is trouble, Max tried to put a stop to the plans. Since then, Max has been doing damage control, trying to keep his family together and stopping Oscar from leaving the country. But with his plans backfiring and Oscar still contemplating leaving, fans think Max is going to have to take drastic action to get rid of Jasmine for good… “Maybe Max planned to kill Jasmine in the flashforward. She is pushing her luck there,” said one fan on X. Another agreed: “Who killed Jasmine is definitely happening. That is why Max gets arrested next year!” While someone else added: “With Jasmine making enemies left, right and centre, it looks like a whodunnit may eventually be forming later down the line. With every revenge plan thwarted by Jasmine, Max needs to up his game. But is killing her his only option? There is also the not-so-small matter of the video on her phone, which shows what really happened the night Anthony was killed. At the moment, the only person who knows how Anthony died is Jasmine. What we need is for Max to get his hands on that video. Next week’s spoilers see Max discover the fact that Jasmine lied about making a statement to the police. He uses this new information to force Jasmine to stay away from Oscar, which leaves her fuming. Oscar also lets slip to Kat that he and Jasmine are planning to leave Walford. This will fuel Kat’s worries that Jasmine isn’t being entirely honest with her.
