Fresh from almost slapping Avani, he decided to give Vicki a piece of his mind. This came as he learned that Avani had been pregnant – and had chose to have an abortion behind his back. Ross’s pleas that Joel keep his cool came to nothing, as he decided to engineer a confrontation, first by provoking Ravi and then harassing Avani in the street. Appalled, Vicki dragged him home, where he turned on her too. Joel targeted Vicki with his latest rant (Credit: BBC) Joel threatened Vicki in EastEnders tonight As Vicki tried to talk sense into Joel, he began spouting off lines from the Drake Zagan playbook, telling her how girls are ‘meant’ to be mums as soon as they have their periods. and rambling on about how ‘gender lines’ became confused and that women needed to be ‘re-educated to their purpose.’ Vicki was understandably horrified by the nonsense Joel was spouting, and tried to set him right. But Joel, on a roll, told her that his dad should have put Vicki in her place months ago.
